Are you at your best morning or later on?
I find that I am better in the morning and decline during the day. Evenings my tablets often don't seem to work for very long and sometimes not at all. Now that I take a Stalevo during the night, I usually function reasonably well until I take another at 7 a.m. After breakfast, I take 6mg of Requip

I am 39 and taking 2 to 4 Madopar tablets a day do you think I will end up with dyskinesia?
I am starting Pramipexole .52mg per day prolonged release in the morning as Requip XL 6mg is not working out. The idea is that I take the lower dosage of dopamine agonist and top it up with Madopar. I am worried that I will end up with dyskinesia due to my age and how early I am taking Levodopa.

Does anyone have any experience of travel vaccinations and anti-malaria medication while taking PD meds (Azilect, Requip XL, Sinemet Plus) ?

Comments on Madopar and Requip XL
Currently taking 22mg Requip XL once a day at 7:30am .I've already tried Sinemet but they made me feel worse.PD nurse suggested Madopar dissolvable , 1x 62.5mg a day before i get up as i have mobility problems first thing in the morning. Does anyone out there have any experience of this combination?

Comments on Stalevo and Requip XL
I take Stalevo 5 times a day and 6mg of Requip once per day. I would be interested in getting feedback from people also taking these meds. They seem to suit me most of the time. Today has been a good day. Have been taking meds regularly, even when I have not needed them. Other times they are very

Is it me or is it my meds?
My brain feels like it is rattling in my head.... I feel like I'm in a fog. I also have internal tremors that make me feel like my insides are vibrating. I had an appointment with my Neurologist last week. He had no answer....could be the Parkinson's, could be the meds. That doesn't help how I feel

Help with walking "issues"
I seem to have developed, over the last couple of months, a "slow speed" walking problem.I can walk into town , I run regularly (am training for a marathon) but have significant difficulties walking around the house. Could it be the increase in meds ?I recently went from 20-22mg Requip XL - am not on

They seem to think the blackouts were from the valilum

Alcohol and TS medications - What's the effect?
Can I drink alcohol with all the medication I take, i.e. risperidone, concerta, clonidine? What effects will it have? Could it make me ill – the interaction of medication and alcohol? Question from Tourettes Action's Research Conference 'Understanding TS' 30 Nov 2010
