Experience with Concerta Long Term?
My son is 13 and has been on Concerta for 6-7 years at various doses. He is currently on Strattera 40mg and Concerta 36mg daily. He's off of Concerta in the summer. We've recently experienced another change in him (possibly due to growth or puberty), but he's very moody lately and has stopped eating

Concerta and gastritis. Also question about Strattera.
Hi, my 12 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with inattentive adhd, and we’re starting down the medication gauntlet. She took 36 mg methylphenidate er, and about a week in got really bad gastritis. I stopped her on that, and am waiting until it’s better before starting her on anything else. From

He is in the main classroom for social studies, and science. He has a helper in those rooms. I just got his progress report

Depression and anxiety vs. ADD
I have treatment resistant depression flaring up right now, with a history of anxiety and ADD, and I am now on Trintellix, Topomax and Wellbutrin XL, and we are hoping the Wellbutrin kicks in and starts helping soon. Oh, and I am also on Ambien for sleep. In the past I was on Prozac, Concerta, and

Concerta - positive experiences
I would love to hear some positive stories about how Concerta has helped your child/family/life! Short story - after 2 years of battling ADHD the natural way, we are taking a new path and Concerta has been our Drs recommendation. Our son is 8 years old, diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type 2 years

Focalin XR Generic by Teva - thoughts?
Hey yall, first time poster here. My son will be 8 in a week; he's been on Concerta since last November, but after increasing his dose from 9mg to 18, then 27, it just wasn't enough - his focus and impulse control were better but his emotional regulation was still severely lacking. We bumped to 36mg

Couple of questions please :)
Firstly, does anyone know if any of the heart meds cause ringing in the ears? I’ve just started an extra one this week, Trangina XL, kind of a slow release constant GTN, am wondering if it’s that? Also, does anyone have experience of ‘complicated angioplasty’ I have 2 narrowings on the LAD, one which

Talk to dr about increase dose
I am currently taking Vyvanse 40mg for my ADHD. I have been on that dose for only 2 months. Before I was on concerta but didn’t work for me so my dr changed it to Vyvanse 30 mg for a month but I told him after it wasn’t as affective so we bumped it up to 40 mg. It works great for the first 6 hours but

ADHD treatment and ROTC/Army
So I have an almost 18 year old daughter interested in joining Army ROTC in the fall...during first year of college. Just discovered that the Army/ROTC will not accept you if you are medically treated for ADHD unless you can prove you are fine without the meds for 12 months. So I have a question to

Need Help for insurance
Helll everyone 🙆♀️ I just moved to LA. I was taken Ritalin and Concerta back home. Now I need to see a physiatrist for medications. But first need to get insurance. But most of them do not cover ADHD medications or doctor visit. A private doctor without insurance is too expensive. Could you please

Sleeping like a baby...
Hi, my husband is 56 years old, PD for approx. 9 years. Sometimes he wakes up in the morning and then has to go back to bed an hour later. He sleeps most of the afternoon away. His quality of life is really bad. He has gained so much weight because of his inactivity. I read all these posts about people

My Story
I want to tell my story. My older son Jacob is now 21 with acondroplsia. Was born 7 weeks early spent 24 days in the hospital. Because all of his milestones where delayed he has been getting help since he was 18 months old. He was in a special preschool program. He got speech therapy in school.

Dosage increase
Hello all, So we went back to visit the pediatrician and she decided to increase my sons concerta dosage to 36mg. Every month they have increased his dosage. Has anyone experienced this. What should I expect. Is this dosage too high. The other 2 doses didn’t make a significant difference. Could this
