RA Microscopic colitis investigation update.
Well I had the colonoscopy 2 days ago with sedation/gas and air so they say. Me no way 😩 anyway won't go into detail about the test and the bowel prep 😱 4 samples of the colon was taken so now the waiting game for results. At least if the results are positive it can be treated. If you have what seems

Just had My Monthly Injection of Firmagon Monthly Labs PSA is Up <0.06 to 0.09
That’s pretty modest. I’m assuming I will wait till next month to see if it goes down. Kind of stressed with this new diverticulitis and blood bowel thing AND Moving. Got results of psa after I saw My Medical Oncologist so haven’t discussed modest jump. Even with bleeding from rectum the gastroenterologist

Can bacterial infections cause this?
In March this year (2023) I started to feel very ill and at the same time a pain in my left hip/leg started so I was hobbling back n forth to the bedroom! In May I went to the doctor and was sent for endo/colonoscopy. I was diagnosed with a stomach and kidney infection. At the end of September I finished

Referred to gastro for a colonoscopy for possible Diverticulitis
I have a provisional diagnosis of Adenomyosis due to a bulky uterus (following a laparoscopy). I was misdiagnosed with fibroids.I have regular rectal bleeding and urinary incontinence. My pain is all over the pelvis but predominately in the left when I flare. My gp is now saying she thinks I have diverticulitis

Super Confused
In January 2011 I was told I was AMA+ and I had PBC. In December 2011 I had a lap band removed and while they we in there I requested a liver biopsy. The results showed I had PBC. I refused any medication for PBC because I was not taking medicine that "may" help slow dow the progression of PBC. Last

Could I get some input on these blood lines/streaks in my stool?
A few months ago I started noticing little mucus boogers on the outside of my stool as well as bright red drops of blood on my tissue after wiping constantly after either having diarrhea or the day after eating super spicy food. My doctor believed that it is internal hemorrhoids because of how it occurs

Microscopic colitis associated with RA
Well the colonoscopy didn't happen two weeks ago due to having to give up a non RA medication I was too ill to go. Update it's next week and I can stay on the medication until the day of the colonoscopy. A biopsy is needed to confirm MC and then the treatment of steroids. You may wonder why I'm telling

Diarrhea every day
hello! My name is Renee and I - as my user name suggests- am a huge hypochondriac. I am concerned because my stools every morning have been diarrhea. Also I will get random stomach pain at time and have diarrhea and after using the bathroom I will feel better. My grandfather passed of colon cancer and

1 colonoscopy + 1 sigmoidoscopy in 3 years; symptoms persist
In the past three years I’ve had a colonoscopy (July 2020) that was clear and a sigmoidoscopy a year later in May 2021 that found small internal hemorrhoids and a hypertrophic anal papillae (benign). However, my symptoms of rectal bleeding, some rectal pain, and intermittent constipation have persisted

colon cancer
I have had irregular bowel movements for as long as I can remember. Recently I noticed blood streaks in my stool. I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy this week but my anxiety is through the roof. My sibling was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and now I’m scared that I may have it as well. Any advice

Does anyone know if it is necessary to depose Acalabrutinib before a colonoscopy? If so, for how long?
