You need to get a gastro because each patient is assigned a specific gastro once your gp has referred you and if you had one contact their secretary and say you need to be seen again.

Diverticulitis needs antibiotics and monitoring they cannot just leave you out in the cold every nhs service has PALS this is where you can raise a complaint then they will definitely have to see you and glad you seriously as you need to be seen by a gastro.

Sorry you are suffering so much as I have seen you post nearly everyday so I’m sending my thoughts to you but please get medical help and fight for it.

Thank you for your reply as you can imagine I am thankful for any help I can get and will try and get some medical aid if I can get through the receptionist ( it's like they are guard dogs at times!!!) after all you got your own problems without mine so take care and look after yourself please

I agree on the secretaries but you have to keep pushing it’s your life so don’t let them fob you off and if they do please turn to PALS as they force them to act.

I do hope you are ok and have family to support you because I know how hard it is to suffer so I am thinking of you.
