Does anyone know if it is necessary to depose Acalabrutinib before a colonoscopy? If so, for how long?

Acalabrutinib before Colonoskopy
Hi joerg,
-
My doctors at Weill Cornell NY Presbyterian told me I could have a colonoscopy without pausing my acalabrutinib / Calquence, but if they discovered any polyps they could not remove them until I had paused for 3 days before a repeat procedure.
So I paused, and fortunately 1 small polyp was removed without having to go through the prep process a second time.

Yes, exactly, it's about the polypectomie, so I would probably pause it! Thank you very much!
HiMy consultant insists on 10 day suspension prior to any invasive treatment and covid infections. I have had SCC removals, tooth extractions, and colostomy. With the colostomy I restarted the day after.
5 days either side
I was on Acala and told 3 days pre and post colonoscopy (especially if they took a biopsy or removed polyps) but your CLL specialist should advise.
Hi, my oncologist recommended a 10 day break from Acalabrutinib before my colonoscopy last year. So that's what I did. No problems, several small polyps were removed. Don't worry, worry, worry, it's exhausting! Good luck!
