Bubbling sensations in the rectum area and very low gurgling sounds, has anyone had the same?
I have had blood tests and a colonoscopy. Everything is fine apart from high iron levels. But I was just wondering if anyone has had the same sensations/symptoms in the subject line? Any advice or reply from someone that has had the same symptoms would be appreciated. I have also just had a FIT test

Ulcerative Colitis or Colon Cancer? (sorry for the nasty photos. 1 here & 1 below in reply!) (Couldn't figure out how to inc. 2 in my post)
I'm a 67 female with R.A. After several days having horrible cramping and gas and the strangest loose stool I have ever seen, my dr ordered two stool tests - the Fecal Occult Blood Immunochemical and the new test, the Microbiology Infectious Diarrhea Panel (which just came out two months ago and checks

Ulcerative colitis
Does anyone have experience of this, please? I have had SLE/Lupus for 38 years (I am now 74) and am waiting for an urgent referral for a possible colonoscopy. I am wondering if I could have ulcerative colitis and would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of it. Thank you.☺️

Gastroenterology tel appointment
Finally had my annual gastro appointment. It was a bad line and he talked very fast. Seemed like he was reading a script and was hardly listening to me as he had already made up his mind. He said all my tests were normal and I have IBS. I already know that! He said I have a healthy bowel. By now I

microlax
As I have posted on here before I have had constipation for over 10 yrs and after a recent colonoscopy I was told there was no cancer but I had diverticulitis as well as IBS and there was still some blockages in my large and small bowel. I am now on holiday on a cruise and I am using one Microlax each

Moviprep & panicking
So I finally got my date today for colonoscopy this coming Wednesday. I thought they’d give me Citrafleet for the prep as my dad had one last week and that’s what he got but for some reason they gave me MoviPrep and I’m freaking out a little (a lot). I’ve read so much about this prep and it really

Colonoscopy
I had a very stressful colonoscopy last Thursday. Stressful in itself but rendered more so by the Practice Nurse who fasttracked me, saying, ‘Good luck, I hope I’m wrong.’ I defy anyone to not think the worst after that! Anyway, the scope was clear of cancer, or polyps but confirmed what I already knew

Bowel inflammation - any link to PMR/GCA?
I have had problems with diarrhoea for several years now. I have had bad reactions in the past to sertraline (antidepressant) and amoxillin, with constant diarrhoea for several months. However my calprotectin levels (measuring gut inflammation) were normal. Since diagnosis I have been getting frequent

Colonoscopy prep and low weight - anyone?
Hello folks, So I’m going to be having a colonoscopy at some point soon (still on waiting list) because of an enlarged liver, high calprotectin and IBD symptoms. I am extremely underweight at 43kg (I’m 5’4”) and extremely nervous about doing the prep for the procedure. My consultant muttered something

AFIB and Colonoscopy Prep
Hi All.... Hope all in Europe are ok with the big storm you've been dealing with. I read it's been devastating (flooding, wind, etc). Been thinking about you. Question about Colonoscopy prep. I have persistent AFIB (as well as mild pulmonary hypertension). Was curious what type of prep you've

Divver? IBS? Something more sinister?
Back again. Noticed after a few weeks that I was eating fairly normally - always very careful - and not really going to the bathroom as much as I should have. Small soft BMs, after feeling like a huge BM was coming. Also having either hemmerhoid or fissure, fistula issues, but my opening is very sore

I’ve had a colonoscopy but it was far more painful than the one I had a few years ago. The bowel prep was awful. I followed instructions but I was still loosing fluid when I went for appointment. People don’t usually talk about their experience of a colonoscopy so just wondering if what experienced was
