I would like to know if any women in the group have been diagnosed with HPV, had ASCUS or LSIL and how long did it take to clear the infection, and if not , did you have a LEEP surgery? I was diagnosed with hpv 2 years ago, both colposcopies came back CIN 0-1 but my third pap recently came back positive again. Just frustrated with my body and I want a permanent resolution to this. Thank you in advance
cervical neoplasia, HPV and RA: I would like to know if... - NRAS
cervical neoplasia, HPV and RA

There is a vaccine for HPV…why don’t you speak to your doctor about it?
If you type in HPV in NRAS search box, there are posts about this from 4 years ago. I had LEER procedure 30 years ago, and was declared negative for HPV thereafter. Follow up smears yearly for 10 years and then every 3 years since - all negative for abnormal cells and HPV.
This must be so scary and worrying for you receiving regular abnormal test results. You do not indicate if you have had the LEER procedure, it is an outpatient procedure and takes approximately 20 -30 minutes. HPV as a virus is very common and that’s why they now offer vaccination to teenage girls as a preventative. Speak to your GP and or gynaecologist about HPV vaccine - I do not have any information if it works on adults who already have HPV. Hope you get some answers soon but do let the health professionals know how worried you are and take someone along with you and ask directly about treatment plan.
