Had a
colonoscopy
to diagnose IBS years ago and am going for a gastric emptying study on Monday. I’m going to ask for a stool sample test to rule out inflammation or IBD though I just had a endoscopy a few weeks ago and know sometimes they can show IBD but mine was perfect. Demented😓

The gift that keeps on giving.......
I had a
colonoscopy
a few months ago; just 2 tiny benign polyps found. I'll see how things go before deciding to seek professional advice. I'm feeling OK at the moment but my confidence has taken a dive - nervous to go too far from home.

Has anyone who has colitis have severe constipation that laxatives have no effect. Doctors need to see lining of bowel 1 failed colonoscopy?
Laxatives for
colonoscopy
failed. Go back to hospital next week for CT colonography. Now drinking different bowel prep. I have severe bowel dysfunction, (slow transit colon). I'm really anxious as my pain has got much worse and it's like I can feel my colon is inflamed.

I have a rectocele and booked for a colonoscopy in 11 days.
Rectocele and
colonoscopy
. I'm having a
colonoscopy
in 11 days. I explained to the hospital nurse that I have a bowel prolapse and was assured that it's ok. I'm still a bit concerned. Anyone else experienced this? If so, how was it? Thanks!

Health anxiety - reining it in while you undergo tests: can you?
I’ve had a mammogram, an endoscopy, a
colonoscopy
, ECGs, a CT scan (that went wrong), an MRI, at least 4 ultrasounds (of separate parts of the body) and numerous other checks, blood tests and stool tests, just in this one year.

CT colonoscopy
Hi yes I had this procedure. Absolutely no pain or feeling at all. Doesn’t last long and had tea and biscuits afterwards.

Advice and support on upcoming Colonoscopy
Hi Forum Family, I have been scheduled for a
Colonoscopy
at the end of the month and honestly, I am terrified. I have been under Anesthesia before and I have woken up after, struggling to breathe. But I was also 70 pounds heavier! And 15 years younger with no Parkinson's.

Ct colonoscopy
Anybody had one? Do you know why I’d need bloods done first? I believe it’s much less invasive than a normal one and doesn’t require sedation.

Welcome respite from IBS
I have been suffering with IBS due I think to diverticuliti discovered when I had a
colonoscopy
about 6 years ago. It got so bad I was sent to hospital for tests when I had a recent flare up. A couple of months ago I started 16 hour fasting usually from 6pm to 10am.

Scared
I got a sigmoidoscopy because I couldn’t do a
colonoscopy
at the time. Now I’m two months postpartum and have a
colonoscopy
scheduled for December. I’m really worried about CC because of black parts in stool, blood, and sometimes diarrhea and constipation.

Colonoscopy
My Gastroenterologist wants me to have a
colonoscopy
, he says he can check liver, etc at the same time. Has anybody any idea what this procedure is called? He gave it a name but as usual I was flustered and forgot.

Spider Angioma?
I've been through most tests (x-ray, CT scan of abdomen, extensive lab tests but not liver specific, endoscopy,
colonoscopy
, etc.) and they've returned normal. Concerned but my doctor thinks I'm just paranoid or crazy! Figured someone here might have some experiences they could share.

I also had a
colonoscopy
because of blood in my poo. The doctor thought I had a bowel tumour but following 2 MRI's when nothing showed he was unsure why.

Infectious IBS
Bloods, stool sample and
Colonoscopy
came back clear.
Colonoscopy
procedure was way less scary then I thought. I did it with gas and air and it was fine. So basically after all this he said it was just a case of post infectious ibs that normally take about 3/4 months to clear.

Rectum Bleeding 3 years
I’ve had a
colonoscopy
in feb 2020 it was all clear. Said no polyps nor signs of inflammation. Dr told me to take more fiber and stool softener of which I did. But the fiber just made me feel full and felt like it made things worse.
