A Measure of Health with SLE Lupus
Am a 64 year old female diagnosed with SLE Lupus in the June 2000 at age 43, after 2 years of marriage. It affected my left lung (pulmonary fibrosis--doctors were preparing me for a lung transplant but refused it). At this time I was being treated with cyclosporine in preparation for the transplant

My husband was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in 2020. He has had chemo with immunotherapy, which worked. Then immunotherapy alone which didn’t so was stopped. Then he had a 2nd cycle of same chemo which hasn’t worked and the tumour is still growing! Is anyone further along the line and can give

Singulair for Mild COPD
Currently struggling with morning wheeze & nocturnal symptoms. I don't know why because little has changed. Years ago I tried Singulair but its efficacy was overshadowed by my anxiety about my breathing at the time. It was deemed not to work and stopped. Last night I thought I'd give it another shot,

Great therapy session yesterday but struggling today
A lot happened: I was misdiagnosed for 8 months, my primary tumor was very large, they
collapsed
my
lung
during my biopsy and I spent 22 days in the hospital due to a toxic reaction to one of the chemos. I thought I handled it all pretty well at the time, considering.

I don't know what has happened
My friend has terminal lung cancer and he was originally admitted to hospital because of the way he was talking. But it's a psyche ward and the staff member escorted him to his appointment at the general hospital and that's when I heard the full SP from the doctor. He has 3months to a year. A week later

Lung cancer: Hope for increasing immunotherapy efficacy
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death. Current treatments employ immunotherapy, often in combination with chemotherapy, but benefits to patients remain slight. In a pre-clinical study, EPFL researchers investigated a method shown to enhance immunotherapy for other cancers. The study

Shoulder and arm pain
I have stage 4 lung cancer on immunotherapy Pembrolizamab for a year. Last few weeks been getting severe shoulder/arm pain right arm - had vats lobe to my on same side over a year ago, doctors say it is 'probably' muscular and not related to my tumour. Severe pain and I feel unheard and unsupported.

Was your treatment altered or delayed by covid-19?
Hello all We are currently receiving interest in and media requests about how the NHS's cancer services have been altered by the pandemic. Most recently we have had an approach from Channel 5 news looking to interview someone who had their surgery delayed. If you would be willing to talk to our team

To do the best for my friend
My friend Kevin has terminal lung cancer and about 3 weeks ago he was admitted to the psyche ward. I offered to go to his flat to get his clothes and he said no (the doctor did say the cancer was effecting his brain). He doesn't belong on a psyche ward and they are trying to sort out accommodation like
