Have you felt worse after starting Octasa?
I’ve been having problems with frequent diarrhoea for 4 years, finally last week got diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
. I’ve been prescribed Octasa 800mg 6 times per day but have people got worse before they got better?

Its 8:30 pm My ex-partner has the movers here.
The rental townhouse will be 80% empty except for my things which don't seem to able to fit on the Bus I purchased thinking a roof over my head and a toilet made sense since I have
colitis
and never know when it will strike. The garage is 50% full and I have no Idea where it will go.

Advice please
I am 68 years old, I have had ulcerative
colitis
for 45 years. It has been largely under control for the last 5 years, I believe as a result of taking probiotics and changed diet. 5 years ago I had a colonoscopy as a check up, under the NHS. They found a polyp and removed it.

Maltodextrin, Modern Stressor of the Intestinal Environment
, Laudisi et al1 next investigated the impact that maltodextrin may have on a wild-type host (ie, without genetic susceptibility or induced

Colonoscopy report
It's to check for microscopic
colitis
. I am pleased though that I didn't have sedation. The other people were totally out of it in the recovery room and they were going to be there for 2 hours then have to be supervised at home. I just walked out, went home and ate my lunch.

infliximab infusions
hello everyone, I’ve posted a few times before - had proctitis but now ulcerative
colitis
. I had my first infusion a week ago and lastnight I had a really slight sore throat and now abit of a stuffy nose. I’m not sure if it’s as cold or rhinitis - What do the ibd nurses normally say to do?

I came across an article regarding HU causing mouth ulcers but also rarely, ulcers on colon like Ulcerative
Colitis
. I realise these symptoms may be an entirely different issue. Best wishes to you all, Fran

Teva was so bad the last time I was on it, I mentioned this to my gp, but that as gone over her head, I know I could seek my own off roseway, but that will defeat seeing the endocrinologist, I need them to give me something that doesn't flare up my
colitis
, I can't afford to pay for my thyroid medication

Naproxen and Colitis.
I have read a few articles on the perils of Naproxen/
Colitis
. Your knowledge would be very helpful until she sees the apparently very good Doctor. Thank you.

Update on T3 re-installed 🤦♀️
and this medication. 1, you could be pooling the T3 in your blood stream, by that I mean the medication is not getting to where it needs to go giving a high reading of T3. 2, you could be hypersensitive to the drug. 3, you are probably having bad absorbtion /malabsorbtion issues , because of your

I do have ulcerative
colitis
of many years standing but well controlled. Would appreciate others experiences .. how they have felt on taking Hydrea.. I know it’s an individual body response too. I know it’s vanity too… but hair loss? Skin and nail? mall this freaks me out.
