Mini Pill Advice re. Side effects
I have recently been put on the progestogen-only mini pill after 12 years of cycling the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon). I needed a contraceptive for a shorter period of time than the 3 years these last. My GP has a waiting list for the implant removal (has passed its 3 years expiry) so wanted to

Private endo specialist?
I’ve been getting on and off pelvic pain for around 2.5 years, I never had any problems however I feel as if my contraceptive implant may be playing a role within this as I never had any issues before I had it. I am getting it removed soon to see if I notice a change. I’ve been concerned about the possibility

Worse every time
Hi everyone. Hope your all well. Does anyone else find that each time they have a bad flare up it’s worse than the last? I ended up in hospital 3 times last year due to the severe pain. When I end up having a bad flare up which seems to be every 2 to 3 months, it’s usually for 5-7 days but this time

Possible endometriosis
Hi Ladies, I'm currently battling with my GP to get further tests done for endometriosis, I have already had an ultrasound and that came back clear. I'm 22 and I had been on the contraceptive implant since I was 14, and I have just had my 3rd one removed (with alot of complications) as my GP was adamant

CBD oil and tinnitus
Hello, I have left the chat line for awhile and have decided to come back. I have tinnitus in one ear , have had it for 4 years. Have had terrible pain as well as I’ve had 7 operations on my ear and now onto my second cochlear implant. I’ve tried many anti depressants and pain killers so have decided

Cochlear implants
Hi,, I’m beginning to sound like a broken record. I have a cochlear implant , debating whether it’s been worth all of the hassle of having it in as it’s been painful. Has anyone out there had great success with theirs ? Thanks Jenny 😊

Spontaneous gush of black blood
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or has any idea what caused this to happen (sorry in advance for TMI): I had a light period for around 5-6 days and then one week after it had stopped, I was on the toilet and strained a little to try and pass a stool. All of a sudden

Implant bleeding
I have had the contraceptive implant now for around six months, and I’ve being having a lot of brown blood/discharge since. The first few months I had a lot of headaches but they seemed to have calmed down now. I did a std/sti test and it came back clear, so I’m worried as to what is causing this.

Pain and tinnitus.
Pain and tinnitus Hi, lately I have been experiencing a real peak in my tinnitus and haven’t been able to wear my cochlear implant as it feels a lot like pain. I’ve had lots of tests done and the Drs can’t find anything. Does anyone feel like it’s painful when their tinnitus gets high ? Thanks, Jenny

Could my contraception be causing ovarian cysts?
I have gone to the gyno with on and off pelvic pain and recently had an ultrasound in which they found one singular ovarian cyst, the doctor said it was a simple cyst and nothing to worry about but it was causing me the pain. I am on the contraceptive implant and don’t recall getting these issue before

Is my contraceptive implant causing my ovarian cyst?
I have been to the doctors on multiple occasions due to ongoing, on and off pelvic pains. The pains are never horrific, they are more like a dull ache and usually occur mid cycle. However I was worried it could be endometriosis, which I know left untreated can lead to fertility struggles. I’m only

Could my contraceptive implant be causing my pelvic pain?
Hello! I’ve been having on and off pelvic pain for around two years, i’ve been to the doctors numerous times and they have only just found a cyst on my right ovary. The gynaecologist said it was a simple cyst and nothing to worry about. They said I get the pain because the cyst is moving everything

A simple ovarian cyst causing discomfort and pain? Should I be worried? Will this effect my fertility?!
**just as a note beforehand: I have never been diagnosed with endo, I have mentioned it to multiple health professionals but they don’t think I suffer** I have been to the doctor about on and off pelvic pain for nearly two years, I had every test under the sun including an ultrasound when it first started

Bloods just in
Hi, After being very ill for a month and ending up in A&E which was due to a reaction with the contraceptive implant, my thyroid was also checked and my TSH was 3.33 (no other results as this is the NHS) anything over 1.85 I usually get all my symptoms back but the docs won't listen blah blah blah..
