I am not sure as to whether I should go the my GP or not as I do not want to waste a vital appointment.
I currently have the contraceptive implant (only had it for just over a year) though i still have my periods every month. Throughout the last couple of years I have suffered with heavy periods. This does not happen every month however. I get severe lower tummy and back pin which stops me doing my normal routine, I will often end up with loose bowels aswell.
Does this sound like endo? should I visit my GP? or is this normal? I am quite worried as I would like to start my own family in the next couple of years.

Not sure what you mean by ‘vital appointment’, from what you said you shouldn’t hesitate to make an appointment as you’re in pain. GP is supposed to there to help you.
Ask for a referral to a gynaecologist especially as you are looking to start a family.
GP may suggest an ultrasound, this is ok for ruling out other things, but not confirming endo. It’s a step forward though 😊.
Thank you for your reply. I ment vital as in someone that really needs a GP appointment especially right now. However, after some more research and thought I will make an appointment I think it does need further investigation. Thank you again
