Unsure of possible Endometriosis?
Hi all! I’m 20 years old and really unsure whether I might possibly have Endometriosis or if I do just get awful side effects of menstruation so just looking for some advice before I make the decision of whether to speak to my GP or not. Cochlear implant and tinnitus
Hi , I have just come back after a break on the chatline. I know I have asked this same question before, but is there anyone out there who has a cochlear but still has tinnitus. I would love to hear how you are going.... one question I do have is .. how do you go at the movie theatre? I can’t bear to

Contraceptive implant
Hi Ladies, I'm looking for alternatives to the combined pill which I can't take anymore due to high blood pressure. Has anyone had the implant and is it suitable for PCOS ladies? Is it painful to have it inserted and removed? Your advice is appreciated. Many thanks

Varicose veins caused by implant
I would like to know if anyone else has suffered with the same issue I did with the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon) and it causing me permenant damage to my veins. This is also for anyone out there, like myself, who felt completely alone, frustrated, scared and angry at the side effect and permenant

Last resort for me: Mirena Coil
Hello ladies, long time no post as things have been bad for me recently. I am due to have my surgery at the end of the week, laparoscopic treatment for endometriosis (and to see where it is, he suspects bowel as well as the usual places) and a cystoscopy to check why I'm having horrible bladder symptoms

Hello from Jenny
Hello , I left the group for awhile , but decided to come back to see if there was any progress made or any good advice. Just in case someone is interested , I wrote to the Neumorod company in Ireland. Unfortunately because I have a Cochlear Implant at this stage they can’t help me, I thought this might

9cm fibroid
Hi everyone, I've just come back from my latest gynae appointment and my head is spinning a bit. Having hit the google search this forum came up and having read a few posts it seems a friendly place to get people's thoughts and hear about other's experiences. I've known I've had fibroids since my mid-twenties

If tinnitus is through hearing loss how can stress make it worse?
If not I might have to go private as I’m scared that I’m going to lose my hearing altogether 😭 Anyone know if
cochlear
implants
would help? I’ve read that they can reduce tinnitus. Googling is a bad thing tho!

Possible endo? Chronic Pelvic pain but no one will take me seriously!
I'm still in the process of finding out what the hell is wrong with me! My pelvic pain started 2 years ago and the third doctor I saw told me a list of things it could be (endo,PCOS, institial cystitis,fibroids..) but she suggested it could be tight pelvic muscles. I told her that I had a ovarian cyst

Last October I had my Implanon removed. I had constant spotting with it and I had enough. A few months after I removed it I noticed pain after sex, I mean pain that would last for days after sex. Then the pain just wouldn't go away. I had no more spotting but I had a pain in my back and pelvic area that

Cochlear Implants and Tinnitus
Hi , I have put a post out before but I’m struggling big time with my Tinnitus and I have a Cochlear Implant. I would really like to hear from someone who has a Cochlear Implant , but is still battling with Tinnitus, just so I don’t feel so alone and perhaps can offer any ideas. Thank you. 😊. Jenny
