CBD oil and tinnitus

Hello, I have left the chat line for awhile and have decided to come back. I have tinnitus in one ear , have had it for 4 years. Have had terrible pain as well as I’ve had 7 operations on my ear and now onto my second cochlear implant. I’ve tried many anti depressants and pain killers so have decided to give CBD oil a go. The bottle comes tomorrow ... I live in Australia and had to go through many channels to get it, I went through the Government. It’s not the one you buy through the internet. Anyway... just wondering if anyone has tried it and if so had much success , mainly for pain.

Yes it works with my mild arthritis instantly, amazing. But no change to tinnitus I’m afraid 🙁.

Hi Cyrtis,

Thank you so much replying to me ... I was excited to hear of someone trying it. I live in Australia and went through the correct channels to buy the oil which took 6 weeks, so it wasn’t bought on the internet. I took my first dosage last night 0.25 mgs but was quite sick this morning so have cut it back to 0.1 . One thing I did notice was a spike in my tinnitus which is worrying me, but I’m going through a stressful time at the moment with my ringing. Have you noticed a spike in your tinnitus and how long have you been taking the drops for? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks ,

Hi Jenny, I've only taken it about 10 times in a year. No change in my tinnitus at all, in fact didn't even think about it. My arthritis is minor, but still quite painful at times. If it got worse I'll try the oil again but as I can cope without it, I'm avoiding using it, not for any special reason, just simply that I prefer to take as few drugs or anything if at all possible.

The only thing I can say is that it definitely stopped the pain in my fingers and very quickly. When my fingers hurt, they always stay like that for about 2-3-4 days, but with the oil it just went (or reduced considerably) in an hour or even less.

Good to hear from you. Glad the oil is helping you with your arthritis. I took 0.1 last night and not as naueaus as yesterday which is good. I have to gradually increase the doseage after about every 5 nights so taking it very slowly. My tinnitus is extreme so hoping it will keep me calm so I can cope more with the tinnitus and pain. Hi Cyrtis, thanks for your messages ... just wondering when you did take the CBD drops did you notice a spike in your tinnitus . I’ve been on the drops , but my tinnitus has spiked.
