Chest pain, Arm pain

Hi,

Just thought i would give an update as regards to my situation. The chest pain are coming as a result of muscle pains. The gastrologist found the root of the pain as he was pressing down different parts of my chest. I'm taking some anti inflammatories and a proton pump inhibtor so that i won't have problems with my stomach.

Although this is great as i have found out the root of the problem i'm still a bit worried since sometimes i'm doing heavy breathing and my heart rate is a bit fast (but not more than a 100 pulse). I'm also feeling some pain in my arms but i don't know if all of this is a result of this muscle pain. I'm still a bit scared that something might be wrong with my heart but 3 months ago the cardiologist ruled out any issues by conducting an echo-cardiogram and an ecg. About 3 months ago I also had some blood tests, chest x-ray and ecg's which all came back fine.

The muscles in the chest can effect the muscles in your arms and the arm muscle can effect the chest, it has happened to me in the past.

Lots of muscles are linked and work together. The bad muscles in your chest might be causing your arm muscles to over compensate when you do things.

Look into some flex and stretch exercises to strengthen both along with your neck and shoulders, they should help you out.

Thanks for replying. yes even my neck and upper back hurts. Hope it's just a muscle issue.
