Hip and leg pain - help!
I'll start by giving a bit of a back story.... Since I can remember I've had pains in my legs and hips that mainly happens in the evening/ night time. I've had this pain every single night (also sometimes in the day) since I was a child and was told repeatedly by a doctor it was just "growing pains."

Pain relief and asthma
I have chostochrinditis . I can’t take ibuprofen because it affects my breathing, if co-codamol isn’t easing pain. What else can I take to ease my pain.

Sciatica and skin-patches
My UK GP has given me "Mezolar Matrix", a Fentanyl adhesive skin patch, 25 mcg/hour size, as the previously used Zomorph 30 mg ( 1 each 12 hours) was proving ineffective in combating the severe pain level. Any help anyone on any aspects of its use - is it usually effective ? I have never used skin

Extreme period pain/endometriosis?
Hello, looking for someone possibly in a similar situation. I have experienced horrendous painful and heavy periods for over 13 years. About 5 years ago I realised this was not normal and when I felt confident enough to seek help as I couldn’t stand the pain any more I visited the GP. They suggested

Pain killer advice
I am currently taking co codamol 30/500 and naproxen, these are my everyday meds, the problem is I think I need something when the pain gets unbearable, the doctor keeps suggesting tramadol but I’m worried this will be too strong, is anyone on tramadol or something similar that helps? That’s obviously

Doctor says he wont prescribe any drugs pain clinic advise.
So after 5 years of suffering in pain and countless doctor and a&e appointments while being on codeine, paracetamol, tramadol, gabapentin, naproxen, buscopan every day at maximum doses he has finally agreed to refer me to a pain clinc since I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, before I got the diagnosis

IC update - anyone any advice on back supports?
So further to yesterday's post I have now managed to see a GP for my lower back pain. I have been prescribed Naproxen and Co Codamol for the immediate pain and referred to a physio. The doctor also suggested a back support whilst running, does anyone use one or have any reccomendations?

So far not so good
It’s been a little while since I last wrote on here. Everyone was so supportive then and I’m in some need of support again. In October my GP referred me to the Rheumatologist because of severe pain and swelling in all of my joints. Blood tests suggested RA. Since then It has been an uphill slog. Initially
