Assumption? Medication Overuse Headache
I take
co

codamol
30/500. I take it primarily for severe back pain, osteoarthritis in various other bits of me, fibromyalgia and a few other pains and problems. The painkillers mostly just take the pain from unbearable to bearable although it can sometimes make little difference.

The only painkiller I take is
Co

codamol
/Codeine for my arthritis but my doctor won't prescribe a stronger painkiller only to attend pain management which I have reservations about. I have read that Lidocaine patches may help! I am at a point where I will try anything. Any suggestions please.

I've been coping with chronic FM by taking

and Amitryptiline but perhaps it's time I found other ways of coping with it. Thank you for any input you can give me.

Drugs?

for 2 years and I still get the drowsy side effects (doesn't really help the fatigue) but it does nothing for my shoulders pain. P.S I feel it's only fair to say I haven't been officially diagnosed as having EDS yet, just hypermobility. Thanks x

isn't working! I have a pill review booked in a weeks time for my new anxiety medication but the doctor I'm seeing is kind of harsh so I'm reluctant to ask her for any pain relief for something I haven't even been diagnosed with.

Should I be worried?
She said she didn't see any cause for concern and gave me
co

codamol
. Painkillers took the edge off the symptoms but didn't mask them completely. I had the head pain and headaches every day for around five weeks. It wasn't at a constant level, it would change throughout the day.

Advice on painkillers please?
I’ve had a headache for about 7 weeks now. I insist 1 headache as it just not let up at all. My GP told me that I should stop taking Co-dydramol tablets as my pain medication as I could “become addicted and they are probably causing my headaches”. He gave me a script for Amitriptyline (1 tablet before

Diagnosed after suffering horrific pain from age 10 - 34. I was fortunate that the depo relieved my symptoms.
Since my operation I have been in pain and told as per the last 12 months take ibuprofen and
Co
codamol
by my gp, my follow up appointment with gynaecological is on 4.07.2017, almost 3.5 months since my operation. Has anyone caught pregnant after a laparoscopy and if so how long did it take?

Hello I am new here.
I am on Gabapentin and paracetamol and
co
codamol
. I cannot take Ibuprofen or aspirin any more as I now have stomach issues because of taking narproxen/Ibuprofen for a long time (which I now know did help as the pain and fatigue has worsted again).

Recently diagnosed with FM & Osteoarthritis.
Currently on
Co

codamol
, Oxyvodone, Oxynorm & Pregablin. Still doesn't get rid of all of my pain. Sorry for all of the questions. Would just be nice to hear everyone else's opinions on what helps... What doesn't and if this is all normal OR I'm actually going mad.
