Pre menopause diet
I’m going through the most awful peri menopause. It’s been almost three years now. I tried HRT and it gave me near stroke like symptoms and had to stop after 4 days as I have lupus and I’m a former stroke patient from my 20s. Could you please tell me of a successful dietary plan to handle all this? I

Anyone tried elderflower tea?
I'm always routing around the web for anything that might help fix PD. There are a few articles about elderflower that show promise. https://www.realnatural.org/native-american-herbs-parkinsons-disease/ Extract "The finding of four herbal medicines that induce Nrf2 among dopamine-producing brain cells

Would appreciate advice on peri menopause
I was wondering if anyone has gone through (peri) menopause without any relief whatsoever, no matter what you tried? For the past few months, my symptoms have been getting worse and worse. I will turn 49 in December and periods have gone from being regular to erratic (anything from 21 to 36 days between

Hello, and homocysteine
I'm Ruth, 65 and live in the UK. I recently did the Food for the Brain quiz and came out a bit iffy. So I did as they advised and had my homocysteine tested. The level was 9.4 which puts me at some risk of alzheimers according to their scale. I am aware of my memory and attention being less good than

I have what my ex used to call 'luxury bumpers'. Recently I decided that whatever the woman in Debenhams said, I didn't seem to be a 34F and went off to Bravissimo, where an amazingly young, and very curvy girlie decided I was 32GG. So I bought some lovely new bras, which were really comfy and supportive

Menopause or thyroid-that is the question!
I am 56, hypothyroid for 1 year taking 50mcg Levothyroxine reduced from 75mcg as started with panic attacks and fast heart rate. Having spoken to my GP, she said levels were showing normal after blood result-however they were at the top end of the scale. I decided to reduce to 50mcg and immediately
