Should I switch SSRIs?
Hi all, I’ve been on sertraline for around 14 years on varying dosages. Most recently I was on 150mg, but over the past few weeks I’ve been coming down and I’m now on 50mg, in preparation for a switch to Paroxetine. I take sertraline as I was originally diagnosed with OCD and also had an eating disorder

Aspen FINALLY Moving forward with Stem Cell Trials
I have been repeatedly writing posts regarding Dr. Jeanne Loring, Aspen Neuroscience, and/or stem cell trials since joining this forum more than five years ago. I'm glad it's finally more than just an encouraging talking point. "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given Aspen Neuroscience

Some help please…regarding waiting times
I have just spoken to the hospital about my referral and they are saying it could take 3 to 4 months. I cannot wait that long as my brain can’t cope and with all the medication I’m taking I cannot stay on it for that long. I had a laser iridotomy in November through the NHS for narrow angles this partially

Legs thighs and calfs pain
Legs thighs and calfs started hurting after reducing prednisone from 20.0 to 17.5 mg 3 days ago. Should I stay at 17.5 mg and give it more time to see if the pain diminishes.

Clinical Trial with Abemaciclib and Olaparib
Hey Queens! I am reaching out to see if anyone is participating in this clinical trial. I am having a hard time deciding if this is a “favorable” option for me. I’d love to get some type of feedback from an actual patient. It’s fairly new, so any findings seem impossible to come by. Also, I’

Another BiTE gets spit out
As we are all painfully aware, prostate cancer is immunologically "cold." This means the immune system cannot be coaxed into attacking it. The one exception is Provenge. BiTEs (Bispecific T-cell Engagers) are in clinical trials. BiTEs are medicines that have one "hook" that connects to a cancer cell

Problem with antihistamines
I have glaucoma and the treatment causes me to have dry eyes that have resulted in damaged corneas. I am prescribed Carmellose 1% eye drops. I was also prescribed Fexofenadine tablets for my allergies but decided to stop taking them as watery eyes helped to reduce the dryness. However, given the pollen

I probably always had Depression and Anxiety, but lost my coping mechanism due to Covid taking away my routine. The result has been severe anxiety and depression. I am on Zyprexa, setraline and Trazadone and go for CBT. My life has been destroyed by the depression and anxiety with no end in sight.

I am sorry
I'm tired of saying I'm sorry for everything, many times I don't know if I made a mistake or not but I apologize anyway Because I don't like anyone to be angry. And currently I am in chaos💔. I am very upset and depressed and no one understands this and there are those who blame me because I want to

Hi,I have seen from Cocos post that the webinar about neuropsychiatric Lupus will be available to watch on YouTube. Can anyone from LUK confirm when it will be available please? I was really sorry to have missed it as it sounds like it could benefit both me and my family. My father had a real grasp

Dexamethasone & Chloramphenicol. Do they cause blurred vision?
Went down to eye casualty as still had sensitivity and irritation from my cataract op though my vision was clear. No infection but the eye is very dry still. Seems the dry eye drops aren't doing a lot. I need to use my heat mask at least once a day. They've stopped the Betamethasone I was given after

New Job
Long story short, I started a new job today! I had been struggling to find work and this is in my field. I like it, the people are kind, and I am good at working in this field, but I have this awful feeling that I am not going to last at the job. The problem is my PTSD. I KNOW I will do ok (in the job
