Depression and successful treatment
I'd like to share something that others may be able to relate to. After suffering for many years with different ailments in addition to, or probably related to PA, one thing that many may suffer from is depression. I was given all the usual psychotropic medications with little positive effect. Then

Eye drops
I've been diagnosed with ocular hypertension in both eyes and using Latanaprost drops at night. No real problems so far other than dry eyes later on in the day. My brother has Latanaprost too and he puts his drops in each eye but at the same time then presses on the tear duct for 2 minutes. The leaflet

hello my Ataxian friends, how are you all doing, ok I hope….. an update on myself. I had cataracts removed from both eyes a couple of years ago, my vision now is amazing, and the colors are beautiful, but the new lenses are long distance only, you don’t get a choice, so I still wear glasses for reading

change of plans
I thought after feeling well for a couple of weeks I was ready to return to work tomorrow. I even called my boss telling her I was feeling better. Over the weekend I started to feel anxious and depressed. Now I’m feeling depressed, crying and a hot mess. This is my second major episode of depression

ADA (American Dental Association) protocol on being premedicated before Dental Appointments
Hi All, Since there is so much confusion on whether or not you need antibiotics before a Dental appointment, I decided to send the site (updated January 5, 2022) on the ADA protocol for premedication before an appointment. Collagen Supplements
Hello all...does anyone have any advice or guidance please on whether taking collagen supplements is a good/bad idea alongside thyroid meds? My skin and hair are terribly dry and I was wondering if they might help. But I'm about worried about including them in the regime if there are contraindications

Monopost eye drops .
I wondered if anyone had any experience of using these at all . I do think they’re helping with my closed angle Glaucoma . Not quite sure if it’s acute or chronic as 2 different consultants that I’ve seen have different opinions . Unfortunately the clinic I go to is an American owned one and used by

Mirapex for depression
My mom is currently taking .250 mg of Mirapex once at night and once in the morning. Taking in the morning because it helps with anxiety to for her. Wanting to go up to .250 at night and keep .125 during the day. She seems to be building tolerance and not helping as much as initially did at the beginning

anxiety
Hi I am posting to see if anyone else has a similar story with anxiety and maybe see if anyone can give some guidance. I grew up in a very toxic (mentally and physically abusive) household. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 17 after a DUI arrest and was taking medication for about a year

Falling on hard times
It's been a few weeks since I posted last, so let's catch up. Two weeks ago I got very sick, and the doctors don't know what is wrong. They blame the fact I still smoke marijuana as it is legal in my state. But I know that's not the problem. My mental state is plummeting. I am no doctor, but I know the

Blurry Vision
I have recently begun treatment - I'm just about 2 months in. I began with a Rituxan infusion once a week for 4 weeks. Concurrently, I began Calquence (acalabrutinib) and Allopurinal, which I will take indefinitely. Shortly after beginning treatment, I began experiencing blurred vision, which continues

Need your input
I am not asking for a medical opinion. I am hoping to get this soon after studying the Epstein Barr virus, MS and my symptoms. Have any of you been diagnosed with the Epstein Barr virus? Do any of you have tinnitus, iritis, vertigo and tendons? I started to have numbness in the back of my neck,
