Depression and successful treatment

I'd like to share something that others may be able to relate to. After suffering for many years with different ailments in addition to, or probably related to PA, one thing that many may suffer from is depression. I was given all the usual psychotropic medications with little positive effect. Then I discovered a new therapy called TMS or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. I feel that this treatment, along with an aggressive B12 injection routine (hydro, 1000mcg twice a day) has brought be back from the brink. I won't go into great detail here, but the University of Florida teaching hospital here in Jacksonville, FL provided the treatment. I have attached a link to a short story they wrote about my experience. If anyone is suffering from depression as a result of or along with their PA, I would suggest you investigate the availability in your area. It is amazing how fixing one thing has such a positive effect on other things in your life. My treatment was covered by Medicare here in the USA.

Thanks for that information. I’d not heard of it . The treatment is available here in the U.K. I have discovered . Not easy to obtain on the NHS , and expensive to obtain privately . But it gives hope to patients for whom medication has not been successful.

Great that it has helped you .

Really glad that you got back to being you. Such a quick response must have been such a relief, after trying so hard for so long.
