what’s wrong with me?
It’s my son’s 9th birthday weekend and I set up a scavenger hunt for him, had a pizza movie night with his friend with cake and presents. Tomorrow we’re going out to eat to celebrate with family and he’s so happy and feels really special but I am miserable. I feel so guilty for feeling depressed even

Coming back again for some lovely support 😊
Hello I haven’t been on here in a while but I need a boost of some of the wonderful wonderful support that I always get here. I had postnatal psychosis and a new diagnosis of bipolar last June 2022, and I haven’t been stable since then. My mood is now stuck in a pattern of n 10ish good days and then

Sensory Overload (I think?)
Yesterday was absolutely awful for no big reason. Everything was good and fine and then I started getting a little irritable so I went on lunch. I only had 30 minutes. Right before being hospitalized about 2 weeks ago I had ordered a ring from Kay jewelers to be shipped to the store in town (nothing

Mebeverine
Hi….a nurse practitioner prescribed Mebeverine when I had a flare up of IBS a week or so ago. I take 3 a day of 135g and the pains have stopped. Do I now stop taking the tablets or are they like antibiotics where you finish the pack til they’re all gone? She prescribed 84… Thank you

Coming home in January. I can't wait to see him. I got him a dog I know he'll love after our whippet died he swore he'd never want another dog. It's the XL bully that's making the news weekly, giving them a bad name because of a few gang members who used them to protect their stash. Dumping them when

How to find a MO Specializing in PCa
I just completed a clinical trial lasting two years. My PSA has slowly risen from 0.06 to 0.12 over the last 15 months or so. My medical team was surgical and now I'd like to move to monitoring with a qualified MO as my PSA moves upward. Where does one start to find an MO who's focused on PCa? The

Trying to arrange something through the Post Office. It's online and I can't represent my condition properly and there's no phone number.Basically my diagnosis to date is Paroxysmal Tachycardia Type Unknown. The PO don't allow that as an option, closest was Paroxysmal AF. So far my Cardiologist is saying

Too much!!
Hi everyone. Oh there's a lot that I'd like to share as such I might be all over the place but I'll start small. I'm not professionally diagnosed with anxiety or depression but I am definitely experiencing one or both but mostly I believe it's anxiety. I am an honors student and oh boy I feel like

Here are the facts, what do I do?
So the facts of my life at this moment:Last night I literally broke into a lock box to get to my medications so I would have the choice to live or die while in a state of extreme mental distress. (Its a cheap lock box but it was way easier to bust into than I thought.) I hate myself. And that is not

DVLA licence renewal
Two years ago I had to inform the DVLA that I had developed glaucoma in both eyes. It was a very stressful time as I had a trabeculectomy, corrective surgery and cataract removal before embarking on the vision test. The Specsavers team was very helpful in deferring my test until I felt ready to take

CLL and mRNA Vaccines
Just saw this abstract, which is one of the papers being presented at the Boston CLL conference: https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.1004157 I don't understand most of it, but this is one of the "Findings": [i]CLL patients and other immunocompromised populations

What To Do Next?
Hi Friends, First post here, although I've come back to this forum a few times. I'm at a spot where, even though I know it's untrue, I feel like I'm experiencing anxiety like no one has ever experienced it before (we all know the lonely feeling). I've been dealing with this for about a year an a half

Help please, struggling with sertraline side effects for 8 weeks
Hi I'm 59 and currently into the 8th week of Sertraline at 50mg for anxiety and still having quite severe side effects such as high anxiety and a very senstive stomach which is making it hard to eat. I know it's side effects from the medication as the symptoms always start around 2 hours after taking
