Test results help
Hi all I am a Hashimoto’s sufferer but have never been put on medication because, although my TPO levels are massively elevated and have been for over ten years, my thyroid blood results remain in the normal ranges. I had a baby 6 months ago and when he was 4 months old my thyroid suddenly swelled up

Can anybody explain what TGAB antibodies are?
My TPO antibodies are 556 iu/ml and I know that means that I have hashimotos. However my TGAB antibodies are 12.9 iu/ml, which is at the bottom of the normal range (range 0 - 115). I just wanted to know what the significance of TGAB is. Thanks

Help with blood test results, heart palpitations, and T3 question
I have Hashimotos and have a new GP. I've been feeling frequent heart palpitations and am wondering if I am over-medicated. A few years ago, after two years of desperate tiredness when my then GP kept switched my levothyroxine doses up and down between 50 - 75 - 100mcg depending on my TSH reading,

Found out I have hasimotos-feeling deflated
Hello lovely people, Thank you to all of you who have answered my previous queries. After finding out in November that I am hypo, I recently had my TPO antibodies tested and they’ve come back positive at 147iu/ml. I knew I probably would have hashimotos since it is common but I’m just feeling low about

I have hashimoto's, triggered by a virus which has left me with the usual symptoms, including muscle weakness. Has anyone found either a remedy or medication to help this symptom? I can function on a daily basis but tire very easily with extra activity. I don't have much strength in my muscles. I take

Opinions on my mums results
Hi everyone, I’m posting on behalf of my mum really, who I think will also set up an account and join this forum. I’ve urged my mum to get a full medichecks panel done, she has an underactive thyroid like me and has been on levo for probably 25+ years at a guess, and she is 65. she’s had heart problems

What do I need?
Good morning all I’d appreciate some advice. I’m 6 months postpartum with second child. Was diagnosed with hashimoto’s (antibodies 1500,TSH 0.01, free T4 37) over ten years ago but I was never medicated as my levels swung around and then stabilised. I fought for medication because I was symptomatic and

Confusing symptoms
HI, been on a few times, I have a confusing symptom that I dont know if anybody can shed any light on. Firstly i'm getting weird bicep spasms so theres that, but the main question is related to my Hashimotos, or is it, my TPO levels were high which my endocrinologist said was most likely hashi, which

Repeat blood tests when starting on thyroid medication?
How often should the TSH blood test be carried out when starting out on Levothyroxine? I've been on the starting dose of 50ug for about two weeks, so was trying to push for a repeat blood test at the very start of April - that makes it six weeks which is what the websites you guys have referred to previously

Test results and H Pylori
Could someone help me to understand these results perhaps? My levothyroxine has increased from 50mcg to 62mg and I feel much better. My tinitus is less intrusive and I am sleeping a little better. I seem to have a little more energy and am not as foggy. Unfortunately, my endocrinologist didn't ask for

Hormonal Acne remedies
Hey, I was given a mirena coil which I am guessing quite a few other people with endometriosis have as well. Unfortunately it has given me hormonal acne and this has been diagnosed by my doctor, I have taken lymecycline since March now and wanted to stop taking it however a week after stopping taking

Chronic Shingles & Hashi/Hypo
Anyone else get Shingles everytime their TSH rises due to Hashi’s & it’s time for an increase in Levo.mg’s? This has been my pattern for a year now. First round was face/neck second was armpits. Both times bilateral. Shingles vaccine has not been an option for me because I can’t go long enough in between

Any advice - feeling sluggish before am dose, vitamin level results are in
So I've recently been noticing that I feel really tired / sluggish and headachey in the morning. It seems to be relieved throughout the two hours after taking my thyroid medication. I have made a note each morning and have ruled out going to bed late / lack of sleep / poor quality sleep / waking early

Results help please
Hi all I have several previous posts about my thyroid- I feel I’ve had thyroid symptoms for years then had to have a hemi-thyroidectomy in Feb 20 due to multi-nodular goitre. I started Levo shortly afterwards when my symptoms started increasing and my TSH increased to over 6. I saw an endo privately
