Thank you to all of you who have answered my previous queries. After finding out in November that I am hypo, I recently had my TPO antibodies tested and they’ve come back positive at 147iu/ml. I knew I probably would have hashimotos since it is common but I’m just feeling low about it all. What do I do now? I’m on levo and have been since November and my dose is stable for now. I haven’t had any vits levels checked-should I?
I really want a third child but I feel my chances are diminishing.
I haven’t changed my diet though I do try to eat healthily and I do exercise regularly. I’ve read about going gluten/dairy free? I love my yogurt and coffees and sourdough bread!! I don’t eat excessive amounts of anything-im fairly balanced. Is it really necessary to eliminate all the things I love??
Sorry for the moan and thank you for reading ☺️

Yep I’m getting my thyroid tested in another 6 weeks. I’ll contact gp for vit testing-b12, vit d and ferritin, anything else? Would the gp do coeliac test for me?
I’m 37 so it could be age. I conceived my two boys quite quickly and had straightforward pregnancies too, albeit before this diagnosis. I don’t have any known infertility issues at the moment, though I plan to embark on some testing. I have been trying for 9 months but my thyroid wasn’t stable throughout most of this time so I’m hoping it’s down to that and now that things are looking better perhaps it’ll happen soon.
Is there anything I can do naturally to reduce the antibodies? I realise this is a long term play.
Thank you! I’m going to get my vits tested and see how those are looking and will take it from there re gluten/dairy. I generally don’t eat lots and lots of either anyway.
Before considering cutting gluten get coeliac blood test done.....because if gluten free diet helps, you don’t want to then have to go back on gluten to do coeliac test
