Question about Hives-bad hives
I already take
Claritin
and Pepcid daily. I try not to attribute everything to my MPN as not everything is caused by the MPN. I can't help but wonder if this is related. It popped out of nowhere. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I'll report back after I get home from the clinic.

Can I take antihistamines when I am on Edoxaban blood thinners.
I used to take a
Claritin
antihistamine every day before I started taking them for itching during menopause, I stopped taking them when I started Edoxaban but I am so itchy every night.

chemo pain advice
I gave him one
Claritin
and it didn’t help. I’m at a loss on how to help him. I do have some old loratab from a surgery in 2020. Appreciate your support.

Anyone have success after several donor egg FET transfers?
I was also doing an autoimmune protocol with Prednisone 10 mg, aspirin 81 mg, Lovenox, Famotodine and
Claritin
daily in addition to daily estrogen tabs and progesterone in oil injections.

Niraparib
Hello lovely ladies I’ve been on Niraparib 200mg for about 12 weeks following carbo/ calyx for first recurrence. My bloods have kept stable which is great but I’m experiencing several irritating side effects which I want to ask if any of you have come up against. Has anyone experienced hair loss

Pelvic /SI joint pain Radiation update
(I take
Claritin
for bone pain) but those knee buckling pains in my back scare me. and the tingling in my leg can be compared to a continuous elbow zing when you bump that nerve. Thank you to all who have been inquiring about my situation and messaging.

Tip about antihistamines
I looked it up and antihistamines (Zyrtec,
Claritin
, Benadryl, et al) can lead to weight gain. Both water retention and fat. How so fat? I can testify
Claritin
causes intense carb craving which I indulged enough to gain about 7-8 pounds in fairly short order.

Seasonal Allergies Meds
I normally take
Claritin
and Singulair everyday. Since the Fibroscan I stopped taking them. I called doctor today and he prescribed Prednisone. He claimed that is generally safe on the liver. I’m not very trusting of their medical advice.

Carboplatin & Etoposide
I have read random tips such as starting
Claritin
before and buying ice mitts/hat, etc. but wanted to ask those who have been through chemo, what are some helpful tricks and tips? Thanks in advance!

Besremi Rash
I continued to take
Claritin
and treated the rash with Eucrisa, which helped. It gradually resoled over a few days, just like the last time this happened. It was annoying but not a big deal. The benefits of Besremi far outweigh minor adverse effects like this.

Update 7.6
It seems to work better than
Claritin
(loratadine), which is reported in the literature for skin issues. The LFTs remain WNL since I started on the Milk Thistle extract.

Asthma Medicines that don't Aggravate RLS
Though
Claritin
does not aggravate my RLS (I routinely have taken
Claritin
for seasonal allergies without illl effect), it has done nothing to relieve my current breathing difficulties. My next appointment with my GP is in a few days.

EXTREME bone pain with Neupogen injections, advise welcome!
His specialist recommended a hot bath,
Claritin
, and Tylenol. I also have a heating pad on his back. Just wondering how long this will last and how he is going to get through the next two injections, hoping it doesn't get any worse! Perhaps his body will adjust??? Thanks to all in this group!!!

Be Aware To Beware.....FYI
The newer antihistamines loratadine (
Claritin
®) and desloratadine (Clarinex®) may have less side effects than older antihistamines. Cetirizine (Zyrtec®) may or may not have less risk. Topical eye or nose sprays/drops have the least risk of these side effects.

This last round I was put on
