Help with blood tests please - Triglycerides high again
Hi All, Would appreciate help with my recent blood test results please. I am taking 75mcg/100mcg alternate days. Then upped my T3 in April to 12.5mcg per day after blood tests showed high cholesterol. My recent tests show T3 increased from 4.3 to 5.47 so very positive increase. LDL down from 3.4

I am waiting results of a heart monitor but had dreadful night with odd rhythms. My partner is desperate to go and I am but he can

enlarged heart
Hi I’ve had AF for a number of years now but it seems to be controlled by bisoprolol apart from my Apple Watch telling me I’m in AF which I wouldn’t have realised. Anyway blood tests have shown I’m very low in B12 and vit d and anaemic and I’ve been feeling dizzy, tired and my ankles and feet swelling

Can too many ablations cause “stiff heart”?

I’m considering another ablation in November by one of the top doctors in the country. I Heard that sometimes too many oblations can cause a stiff heart which I am

A quick update
I keep telling them I am dog tired and fed up with this
ckd
but it falls on deaf ears - I don't think it is suitable for me - unless they come up with a miracle cure - they just made me feel even worse.

CBD & Parkinsonism
Hi my husband and got his official diagnosis last year but I say he had symptoms for nearly 2 years before. Life was at breaking point when we first went to the doctors in January 22. Karol looks so well you wouldn’t know he was ill looking at him. Does anyone else feel like I do angry that I am losing

Respite Care Tips Please
Hi, my mum has CBD and has two carers four times per day currently. Upsetting visit to A&E chest pain bradycardia
Hi all. First a piece of good news. One of my daughters finally got a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s and was prescribed Levothyroxine last week. That’s as far as the good news goes regarding doctors. For over a week when I lie down in the evenings I develop chest pain, nausea, tingling hands/feet etc

Chronic flank pain and atrophy...
I ordered my own labs for three months in a row to take to a nephrologist, and seeing the consistently 60's egfr and other labs, plus the physical damage, he diagnosed Stage 2
CKD
. I was told to just stop taking ibuprofen and change my diet. That's it.

CBD...does it help? should it be avoided with Pred?
I seem to remember early on in the PMR journey that CBD was advised against, but the night pains are worse and have run out of previously useful sleep remedies ! any advice on CBD and possible PRED reaction and as useful for PMR pains and sleep issues? thanks

How Long Before Improvement?
I was diagnosed with AF a few months ago and before that only really knew something was wrong back in March when I found I got out of breath walking up a hill that normally would have been fine. Anyway, yesterday I had my first cardioversion which was successful. Today I went out for a bit of a gentle

How effective is cardioversion for Persistent AFib?
Thank you to all those who have recently posted replies to my recent question ‘Has anyone had problems with Flecainide not working?’. Your answers have clarified the some of the options to discuss with my cardiologist, hopefully in a couple of days. I propose to gradually stop taking Flecainide but
