Final stages of CBD
Hi all My dad is in the final stages of CBD and in fact the Palliative Care Consultant seems to think we have less than 3 months left with him. I am really really struggling with this and can't bear the thought of not having my dad but this illness is the cruellest illness I have ever encountered.

Blood Pressure Tablets
Hi - my GP prescribed Amlodipine 5mg one tablet per day for my high blood pressure. Only a couple of days later I saw my Consultant regarding my Afib who changed Amlodipine for Adizem 120mg once a day. I also take Flecainide 50mg twice a day for Afib. Does anyone else take Adizem and have any side

Supplements for arthritis and rivaoxaban
Hi all My husband has paroxysmal AF and a pacemaker takes digoxin and Rivaoxaban. He has slight arthritis in both knees(too much playing hockey in his younger days!) and not bad enough to take painkillers all the time. Bothers him the most after sitting for a while and then moving again. Before his

Blood pressure up and down like a yoyo...
My BP is going up and down all over the place. Last night I took two readings at around 7.30pm and had 117/70 (left arm) and 120/73 (right arm). This morning I took another two readings at 7.30 am and had 158/91 (left arm) and 169/79 (right arm) I always seem to get a lower reading from the left

Good morning all I have probably a silly question I am female age 56 not that fit, should do more exercise. My Apple Watch is set to show any signs of AF It has shown 2% or less week 17-23rd And same week before (I have only just set it up to show this) I had a successful Cardioversion

*update* Sensitive: HCG plateaued and clinic not offering any help
As everyone has been so supportive and helpful a quick but rather sad update: went for a private scan today and they couldn't see anything like a viable pregnancy - just a mass of what they called septations (no idea), possibly a haematoma and fluid. They couldn't see the tubes and only one ovary (with

Ablation update
So 8 months on post ablation I am still in permanent AFib but completely symptomless. I am back to sleeping through the night, much reduced anxiety from awaiting the next daily onset of the paroxysmal AFib, I am walking/running 4 miles a day, I have a personal trainer and am in the gym 4 times a week

Light headed.
A couple of times this week I have felt light-headed for a few minutes. I do have AF. I take Warfarin and Bisoprolol. I usually feel well. I wonder is this with having AF? I haven't experienced this before. My AF was diagnosed about 4 years ago.

Exposure to environmental contaminants and how it relates to increase in Parkinson's disease...
I know that PSP, MSA, and CBD and Parkinsons are not one and the same but this headline caught my eye about the most recent studies involving what effect chemical solvents so many of us are exposed to day to day may have on our brains. My husband, a photographer, farmer, carpenter and sometimes painter

Newly diagnosed with CKD and preoccupied with what this means for the future
I understand that
CKD
is not reversible (can’t grow new new nephrons!). So, do I just continue to monitor creatine levels and urine for protein until reaches a threshold for dialysis, then I’m forever tied to home for PD or making sure there’s a HD center near by?

Sudden increase in AF
I am new to this forum. I have a 2 lead pacemaker (11 years ago). I was diagnosed with AF 4 years ago (I am now 78) and was on 150mg fleainide which worked well. Last December I had an attach of AF which caused me to lie down. This was after vigorous exercise so I saw my GP who told me to stop exercising

CBD oil/gumming Etc
Hello, now I know I'm pretty new to the group as my wife was diagnosed on 12th March but given a PSP diagnosis from 29th Jan but she's had the symptoms for a while now and not seen a Neurologist due to Covid (blah blah blah). But she's been on Co-careldopa and that didn't seem to help, she's now on Pregabilin

kratom issues
my husband started using kratom about 6 months ago because we can’t get cbd where we live. It was working ok but it’s no longer Easy which has been my problem with it from the Start. We will go back to usa in about 6 weeks. Until then his only option is kratom. he can’t use opiods because he’s bipolar

Does anyone take COQ10 with propranolol?
I was prescribed 40mg propranolol in December for my panic attacks/heart palpitations. This then lead to be ectopic beats, I think the anxiety around this really made me ill so the doctor told me to increase the propranolol to 3 times a day. My holter monitor and echo was normal. I felt ok taking this
