fibroscan 9.7 in august,13.6in november...is it possible???Chronic hepatitis b with hepatitis d.I know that s not good,and as far as I red on the internet,fibroscan is a succesful tool...Dont think it could be a wrong result...

If you still have active inflammation then Fibroscan can not tell the difference between actual fibrous tissue and inflammation so it is possible for the fibroscan to give a falsly high reading but this would depend on what your virus was doing at the time of the scans. If you had inflammation then your score may be falsly elevated.

Fibroscan taken on it's own isn't sufficient to give an accurate diagnosis of the state of your liver health.

Fact is that in september i finished the 1year pegasys treatment...anyway,is a high score.

If you have ongoing inflammation after the one year treatment it's possible that you need to go onto the lifelong treatment for Hep B. Hep B can't be cured but it can be controlled with antiviral medications.

This is something you really need to follow up with your own doctors as previously indicated the last time you posted.
