I am new to this site and I am desperate to find some answers. I am almost 42 years old and am female. I am 'borderline' hypothyroid according to my GP. I have type 2 diabetes, which is not very well controlled despite me taking an injection of 1.2 of Victoza every morning. I eat a healthy diabetic

daft question..... Cholesterol..... does the body only produce bad or good Cholesterol?
Hi, i was wandering what sort of cholesterol the body produces. As i had a thought today , if you have high bad Cholestorol... isnt that caused by the intake of food, that if you had family based high cholestorol, wouldnt it be high good cholesterol??..... isnt high bad cholesterol a sign of bad diet

HERBAL CURE OF DIABETES FORMULATED BY A PHYSICIAN
Diabetes is a chronic, potentially debilitating and often fatal disease. The disease occurs as a result of problems with the production and supply of insulin in the body. Either the body produces no or insufficient insulin (type 1 diabetes), or the body cannot use the insulin it produces

Hypothyroidism and high cholesterol
My doc finally agreed with me that there is some kind of connection between the two but denies that it's significant. Thus, even if I get exactly the right dosage of thyroxine, it won't significantly lower my cholesterol. I asked for a source on this but didn't get one. I have (or had) high cholesterol

So did I.......
Like RoloHipps, I too saw an Endo at the Countess of Chester Hospital, for the first time yesterday. (I,ve been Hyperthryroid for 11 years), and I have to admit, that having read on this site the problems or thoughts other Thyroid people have had with their Endocronologists, I was dubious as to what

Nicotinic Acid
I was taking Tredaptive, Nicotinic Acid, until recently. I was informed by my GP that it has been withdrawn from the market. This was prescribed for my Familial Hyperlipidimia along with Atorvastatin. Since its withdrawal my cholestrol has risen by 20%. I have seen my consultant who has prescribed
