new to this
She is currently having radiation and
chemotherapy
. As of today she is only experiencing mild nausea from treatment. All of this is such positive news, I am feeling helpless with her mental health as to why this is happening to her and her family.

Prostate removal after radiation??
Since diagnosis (2016) I've had chemo (taxotere), 25 radiation sessions on my prostate, along with regular shots of ADT (Eligard). I currently have a PSA of .7 I recently had a PSMA scan, and the only cancer in my body at this point is in the prostate gland itself. The scans were sent to my urologist

I've said yes, but know it's 50/50 for any benifit, but realise there's a possible price to pay with side effects short and

Clarification on ALP and LDH markers
I was wondering if anyone can fill me in on Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) changes with second time docetaxel treatment. What do these values help indicate and is it normal to have them higher after one dose of chemo? I figure it takes a while for the chemo to have time to

Five-year results for the iFCG regimen: first-line treatment of CLL patients with mutated IGHV and without del(17p)/TP53 mutation

Summary/Conclusion
: The iFCG regimen, using only 3 cycles of
chemotherapy
(as opposed to 6 cycles of chemoimmunotherapy) achieves a very high rate of U-MRD in previously-untreated pts with CLL with IGHV-M CLL.

I have been reading everything I can here, but still feel a little terminology and technically lacking. What would be helpful in helping new members is very very basic terms until they get up to speed. I have several questions. I am gleason 8, de novo, lymph node involvement in pelvic region, and one

O2 saturation and chemo
I finish my last does of paxlovis and starting to feel just slightly human. I thought the 4th dose of doxytaxel was horrible but it seems it is largely due to the covid. I ended up spending the whole day in the ER (with travel) for no reason. I has having widely fluctuating O2% and pulse I don't remember

HE4 increasing
Hello All Amazing Women! My sister had a full debulking in July along with chemo after and is now on maintenance with an Oliparb drug and Avastin infusions every 3 weeks. She had a PET and CT scan after her chemo was completed and they were both clear. She’s feeling great and her CA125 has been at 9

Update on Daddy-O
He said that he would like the next course of action to be Pluvicto but he'd like my dad to have a bit more time to rebound from the
chemotherapy
that he received earlier this year for his brain cancer. Dad's labs are looking good, but he wanted some of his counts to increase if they can.

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
After my last post, my father underwent spinal cord decompression surgery - they did laminectomy and partial corpectomy of the fractured vertebrae and did pedicular screw fixation to stabilize the spine. It's been 2 weeks since surgery and he is prescribed bed rest for 4-6 weeks. After 1-2 more weeks

Chemo (Docetaxel) with Prednisone
Hi all, Zytiga stopped working for me and I am castrate-resistant. After a failed clinical trial (immunotherapy) I started Docetaxel 2 weeks ago and was prescribed Prednisone (5mg twice per day). I seem to be very sensitive to the Prednisone....having trouble sleeping, feeling anxious, etc. even when

Order of Pluvicto (Lu-177) vs. cabazitaxel/carboplatin chemo?
If there weren’t a supply chain shortage of Pluvicto my question is: Is there any scientific evidence for which order the treatments should be done? Did the Vision trial suggest anything? Thanks everyone.

Cabergoline/ Dostinex/ Casodex - Prolactin suppression to remain Hormone sensitive
The patient had received androgen ablation treatment that included hormone therapy,
chemotherapy
, and radiation therapy.
The androgen-dependent malignancy was terminated.
Summary of Evidence However, androgen-independent malignancy developed; which likely is due to prolactin.

visiting with a sore throat
Hi My mum’s treatment has been tricky so she is in hospital and had one round of chemo (carboplatin on 2ndJan). I had planned to visit her this week, tomorrow (9th) but today I’ve woken with a very sore throat. Do you think it’s best to stay away given where she is in the 21 day cycle.I’ve heard she

CAR T-cell Therapy Drives Disease Remission For 5 SLE Patients
After
chemotherapy
, they received CAR T-cells as a one-time infusion and then monitored in the hospital for 10 days before being released for outpatient follow-up. Results showed B-cells fully disappeared from the patients’ bloodstream two days after the infusion.
