Cancer cells dying liberate purines which could increase the level of uric acid in the blood.

Are your kidneys working ok? I sometimes get gout because I only have one working kidney, a transplanted one.

I had two rounds of gout immediately following EBRT. I thought maybe stress might have contributed. My Rad Oncologist wouldn't admit to any association. tango65 has a suggestion that makes sense too.

You sure it’s gout. I would suspect edema or fluid build up on your feet or other extremities.
