Hello All Amazing Women! My sister had a full debulking in July along with chemo after and is now on maintenance with an Oliparb drug and Avastin infusions every 3 weeks. She had a PET and CT scan after her chemo was completed and they were both clear. She’s feeling great and her CA125 has been at 9 for quite some time. She’s concerned because her HE4 has been steadily rising and her oncologist told her that they look for trends and that they are monitoring it. He didn’t seem concerned
She calling her surgeon tomorrow to talk about this because of the steady increase. Have any of you experienced the same thing?
Thank you so much for your input and support.

I only have heard of ca125 test which I take every 2 months. Have not heard of he4. I hope that it turns out to just to be a one off increase. Do you mandatorily have to do this test and is it as sensitive as ca125? Wishing your sister the best.
Hi! Thank you so much for replying We’re in California and the HE4 is done with the CA, 125 Test. I believe it is a tumor marker but of course I don’t know how sensitive and accurate it is. My sister has an appointment with her surgeon this Wednesday to talk to her about this.
