Hi Pulpfiction welcome ...Please you should not take Champix with a history of depression..

If you got it by prescription do not go back to that GP or whatever he/she is

I highly recommend that you stop taking Champix and try another method..

Sorry if I sound harsh but depression and Champix is dangerous...Please still try and quit!

Hi Hercu I thought it was Zyban that you shouldn’t take with depression hence why it’s been banned here, I thought Champix was ok but I may be wrong

If you have a history of depression are you taking medication for it? If so continue to take it on a schedule. As far as chantix goes you might have to quit taking it or it may be withdraw. It’s normal to go through some sadness to say goodbye to our old friend. Especially forever. But if the sadness continues I would see a doctor. When I first quit I had an attitude if I didn’t care. I didn’t care that I was quitting and therefore kind of angry and negative Couldn’t see the benefits of a better life. Once I started to look around it helped. Stay in touch. We all want to help you :)

Thank you so much

Since last post I have been to doctors and have been taken off champix and put back on my antidepressants, but not smoked for two days

smoked for the last 28 years, thought champix was the best way to go as patches , gum and vaping never really helped me to quit .

Still feeling awful

X
