I'M BACK!
Hi Everyone. Just to let you all know that I'm back and all mended! The nasty little polyp that was waving at the nurse when I had my last smear, is no more! Thank you all so much for your well wishes - they worked! Also, I have contacted the Head of Health Unlocked about all the abusive posts we

HELP do I continue pushing for some sort of diagnosis ENDO or not ?!
Long story short since I was 15 (now nearly 23) I have suffered with horrific abdominal pains on the right hand side very rarely the left. I’ve have kept diaries etc and can’t pinpoint a certain time of the month where it is worse. It’s seems to worsen during and after sex. At times it can get so bad

So after my third round of Clomid I took a pregnancy test today and it was positive!! So I think dating back to first day of period I’m 5 weeks (clear blue says 2-3 weeks) and the cheap ones are showing a feint line. BUT I had a smear test on the 15th June and bled (spotting) from that (i always do

Endo laparoscopy back pain
Hi, I had my laparoscopy nearly 2 weeks ago - they removed a small amount of endo and some adhesions on the outside of my bowel. I’m still bleeding very lightly since the op and I have back ache all the time. I have got a uti since the op as well. Has anyone else experienced this? FYI I am a total worrier

What is Going On?
Can endemetriosis lead to cancer & be a risk especially if there are utis with nitrites & sepsis present. So who is deciding on what is funded or not you can be sure it is committees mostly men who are not specialists . Now I know why I was hoodwinked all last year pretending I was being Fast Tracked

Does anyone experience this at ovulation (it's a bit TMI!)
OK so this is a bit of an unpleasant question... For many years now at the middle of my cycle I pass a large amount of very thick, clear 'stuff'. It's like a jelly consistency. It's always really painful, like I can feel it working is way down through tubes for the couple of days before it comes out.

Slightly odd question
So I recently went to the drs to put through my ivf referral. Whilst there I had a chat with the nurse whilst doing the cervical screening and she seemed to think that the mucus is different after ovulation compared to before ovulation... Now I am in no way taking this as a sign it is not reliable

Elevated B12?
Hi, can anyone please help me? I am 21 and recently found out that I have high B12 (approx. 2000) after taking a full blood count at the start of the year. However, my GP noticed that everything else was normal including my folate levels which is odd considering most people have problems with B12/folate

Hi Everyone, my oncologist called me yesterday. Always that apprehension...it made me recall when he called to tell me the stage 4 dx. On that day, naively, I thought “oh, how nice. He’s just calling me to check in” as two weeks had passed from when my gynecologist did the Pap smear that revealed

Blood and mucus when farting
Hello all Sorry to be so open but I am experiencing some very strange symptoms and I wonder if anyone has had the same. During the past 5 years I have had some bleeding after bowel movements, particularly when I was pregnant. When I was pregnant I also sometimes passed a very small amount of clear tissue

Seeking a diagnosis
My daughter aged (37 years) has, for the past 18 months and after having anal fissures, been having bloodstained or brown unpleasant smelling copious discharge. After many hospital tests (including at GUM clinic) infections have been ruled out. She has seen gynaecologists (has had several hysteroscopies

Hysterscopy/Mirena?
So I had my first gynaecology appointment today. I mentioned all my symptoms and he wrote everything down. He then tried to do an exam with the speculum (like having a smear test), but the pain was horrendous. So he had to stop. He then said he wants to do a hysteroscopy and put the mirena coil in at
