So I recently went to the drs to put through my ivf referral.
Whilst there I had a chat with the nurse whilst doing the cervical screening and she seemed to think that the mucus is different after ovulation compared to before ovulation...
Now I am in no way taking this as a sign it is not reliable I know I just wondered if anyone else had any experiences or had heard the same thing I thought it was interesting that’s all
Hope everyone is well or as well as can be
Thanks for reading
Kelly xoxo

Yes, I’ve read that loads and when I actually take notice of what mine looks mine I do think there’s more of it and more watery before ovulation. I’ve read it’s to help move the sperm along. After ovulation it gets thicker and sticker as there’s no need for the sperm to get anywhere.
Yes definately more watery before ovulation. I know every month just before I ovulate cause it trickles down my leg almost feels like pee!!....and DH will say...oh your egging 😂😉
Yes it should be more watery, egg white, just before ovulation. It means you’re in a fertile phase. It’s one of the signs you use when charting temps and opks to get a more exact picture of ovulation taking place xx
Thanks ladies I realised when I wrote it (in my sleepy state) that I meant after ovulation has anyone noticed that their mucous changed and then went on to have a BFP.
The nurse I spoke to basically seemed to think that if after ovulation you conceived then your cm would stay egg like. Just wondered if anyone had any thought on this.
My cm is always as it should be just everything else not working lol 😂
