Can blood test detect cervical cancer
So I've been worried about cervical cancer for a while now but I just wanted to know... can a blood test detect or indicate the presence of cervical cancer, cause I had my bloods done recently and they've came back completely normal?

I tested positive for Chlamydia
I have been in a relationship for the last four and a half years. My partner is the only person i have been sexually involved with. In December of 2019 I was tested for HIV, gonorrhea and chlamydia. All tests came back negative. The only reason i had tests done was because i suffered a miscarriage and

Hi everyone, I’ve just found this site and reading through so many similar stories to my own. I have been having serious problems with stomach pain and spasms with bowel issues for 4 months. In all from December I have had 5 red flag referrals sent from my GP and an A&E doctor. My symptoms are I physically

Hello all, I’m new here and just after some advice because this world of endo feels a little overwhelming atm. A little about me - I’m 27yo and have always suffered with v heavy painful periods and accepted it as ‘normal’. Was on mefenamic acid in my early teens, then got by on OTC painkillers. Tricycled

Endo and changed periods
Hi, I am diagnosed with endo, have always had fairly regular very heavy periods. I had my smear in January, and bled lightly (but more than just spotting) for 5 days afterwards. I then went 45 days (longer than usual) and started what I thought was my period, I have now been bleeding for nearly 4

update after seeing a specialist
Its been awhile so I just wanted to give an update and maybe I can help someone else. I was diagnosed back in September with ET CALR type 1. I was asymptomatic with platelets in the 600's (now 700's) found on a routine blood work up. I saw two local hematologists that I was not comfortable with so

Any advice on hysterectomy to remove my womb please. From someone who had it will be great. 🙂🙏🏼
My lovely gynecologist who had seeing me several times previously who now call me her friend, was cheerful when I went to see her again last year. I’ve been having smear test at least once a year since my first colposcopy treatment in 2003 and every year is the same. December 2018 they found endometriosis

Anxiety and waiting
Afternoon ladies, I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be during these strange times, there’s so much on my mind at the moment it feels like my head is about to explode. I was in hospital with an endo flare up and awaiting to see the specialist apparently it’s coming in April but I haven’t had

HPV virus and cell changes with RA
Hi, just wondered if anyone has any experience of this- I recently had a colposcopy after a smear test picked up that I had a high risk type of HPV with mild cell changes. However, following the colposcopy and a biopsy, the results came back that the cell changes are actually moderate/severe and hence

Constant bleeding being ignored by docs
I have always had issues with my periods, heavy bleeding and bleeding between periods which has always been shrugged off by numerous doctors as "just one of those things that happen to some people" however over the last 6 months I have had some type of bleeding almost daily, it ranges from spotting to

HPV positive but had same partner for 7 years! Needing some advice please.
HPV positive but had the same partner for 7 years and last smear test was all clear (about 4-5 years ago) I’m really confused about it and feel really dirty. I’m 100% sure my partner has been faithful to me as well which has left us even more confused. I now have to wait til December to go back. What

Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances. I have extremely high bone density, so have degenerative spinal disease
