Endo and changed periods

Hi,

I am diagnosed with endo, have always had fairly regular very heavy periods.

I had my smear in January, and bled lightly (but more than just spotting) for 5 days afterwards.

I then went 45 days (longer than usual) and started what I thought was my period, I have now been bleeding for nearly 4 weeks, it is much lighter than my usual period and is mostly bright red blood (fresh?) And sometimes a few small clots but no large clots that I normally get.

Is this endo or smear related or something else?
