Dry mouth
Thank you all for the sugg for coping with dry mouth and throat. Lots to choose from. I will try the sugar free chewing gum and Boots throat spray. I also have dry eyes and use a gel prescribed from the GP. I will ask to be checked for diabeties. All your help is much appreciated.

Hi, everyone. How are you? I just came back from my clinic appointment and was told news I didn't really want to hear. It spread again to one of lymph nodes near right kidney. That made sense why I had a pain there. I was on single dose of celarsertib for a few years. Now it's discontinued. My consultant

wheat in cosmetics
Iām recently diagnosed with coeliac disease. Iām following a gluten free diet but have noticed that a product I bought to promote hair growth contains wheat germ amongst many other ingredients. As this product needs to be massaged into the scalp should I not use it?

Hello everyone, I have advanced glaucoma in both eyes only diagnosed six months ago after a very late eye test at the opticians, and use monopost once a day. My left eye is the weakest by far and I have lost some central vision. I have fluid at the back of this eye and was told it looked like diabetic

when to call your neurologist
I recently started seeing a new neurologist this year. Since then Iāve had a flare up of eye problems. I have been having severe double vision and eye pain. I contacted my neurologist a few months ago and they (the Pa) ordered a 3 day round of steroids which didnāt help at all. I called them back and

How to increase scarring after trabeculectomy
My husband (30m) had a trabeculectomy in his left eye in August 2023. It is now November 2023 and the IOP is only up to 7. His vision in that eye has never recovered (it does temporarily if he does something a little strenuous like walking up a steep hill). The consultant has said that to prevent

Just to share in case it helps someone: My mother has very advanced disease and her tongue doesnāt move well; she has difficulty swallowing and her mouth is usually open, so she mouth-breathes all day.
