Take
Celebrex
and tylenol everyday with minimal relief. I am looking at alternatives such as mental health, acupuncture, stretching, yoga and ect. Fortunately, a side effect being off prednisone I have lost 25 pounds and feels great. Decided to get a second opinion from another Rheumatologist.

Celecoxib / Celebrex
Does anyone have experience with taking
Celebrex
longer term? I've found it seems to do a great job of controlling inflammation for me. I'm wondering how long I might be allowed to take it.

Celebrex for joint inflammation pain?
Quite by accident, I took some
Celebrex
for a couple days when my joint pain was really bad. It is amazing to me how much more effective this has been than my usual ibuprofen and or Tylenol. So I’m wondering if anyone else has used
Celebrex
.

Has anyone tried alternate anti-inflammatory agents for MPNs?
I had a big flare and had to resort to 300mg of
Celebrex
a day to get it under control. The flare is over and I can stop the
Celebrex
. While I was on the
Celebrex
, my bloodwork came back looking quite good. That could be down to a few factors.

Well I'll be damned!
She says she's not worried about this as it's been caused by the Pred and the double dose of
Celebrex
each day. I've had my cholesterol checked which is nice and low, and a few other things.

Scared about starting methotrexate
I've been talking hydroxychloroquine for a few months with
Celebrex
and I've had quite a bit of improvement, but still have some issues. Now they want to move me to methotrexate. I'm really concerned as I actually feel quite well at this point.

Finally saw a rheumatologist
I was also advised by the Rheumatologist to take anti inflammatories such as
celebrex
or ibuprofan if needed which was contrary to the advice given by my GP.

Insights into ANCA vasculitis Tx, etc
Joint pain had been treated with steroid injections,
celebrex
, for YEARS and did not lessen. In early 2021, I was told "There is nothing wrong with you, see a psychiatrist." Best advice ever because the psychiatrist sent me to specialists and a diagnosis was made.

Introduction
Consequently, I am taking
Celebrex
to reduce cancer inflammation, Metformin to keep my blood sugar from fluctuations (not for diabetes), Letrozole, 10,000 iu of Vitamin D, twice weekly IV vitamin C 70 grams, and subcutaneous injections of mistletoe. My cancer markers are low. It’s a journey.

PMR QUESTION
Managed to ween off of prednisone over a month ago and on the suggestions of the forum here did not use the
celebrex
to do so, but then started feeling achy and ended up on
celebrex
for two weeks but the stomach pain became so intense I had to stop.
