Hi all, I wonder if anyone on the forum is taking both Thyroxine and Alendronic Acid (AA)? I am taking a cocktail of drugs, as so many of us are, but have put off taking AA since diagnosed with PMR in 2022 - cannot believe where those 2 years went... I've been on Thyroxine (150 mcg/daily) for nigh

Sensitive - prolonged management of miscarriage - 3 attempts...
🤗 Hello, hope everyone is doing well. Just a bit of a update. I had a non viable pregnancy with a empty sac as a result of a FET. 1st I thought it would pass naturally. But I still had a really strong positive 2 weeks after a 8 week scan. So i had medical management. Still a strong positive 3 weeks

Depression and fatigue normal FT3
Has anyone resolved either their depression, chronic fatigue or feeling hungover in the morning by raising their FT3 from normal to optimal? (The highest my FT3 has ever been whilst experiencing all these symptoms is 4.9 (3.2-6.8) pmol/L). Edit: I'm not looking for advice about how to treat. I'm looking

Stopping Block and Replace
After 8 long years I have decided to try stopping BR ( 5mg. Carbimazole and 75 mcg. Levo ) to check for remission. Just come back from GP appoint. that unexpectedly went well ( usually try and avoid them for thyroid issues) I chose a GP trainer hoping he might know a bit more about AITD. Receptionist

Help sourcing T3
My supplier has no Tiromel available and I have only about a weeks supply left. Contacted them in January thinking I'd be organised and not leave it till the last minute so I wouldn't run out. Unfortunately they are having supply issues and have sold out. I know this is not a topic for open discussion

T3 Timings Please
Just wondered how much space to leave in between T3 doses, currently taking 6.25mcg in the very early hours with Levo and then taking the next 6.25mcg around lunchtime/ early PM. Is this leaving enough time or too much time between doses? Not sure how long T3 lasts. I'm obviously aiming for consistent

Fatigue, coma naps and pituitary
Hey everyone, Has anyone experienced such bouts of fatigue where you fall asleep and you just have to fall asleep that given moment and you are gone for an hour? This started happening to me in July last year, but got increasingly worse over time. I thought it was my iron, but I fixed that with iron

I have just had my latest blood results, and wonder if I could ask for your opinion, as to whether these results look ok, or do I need to change the doses. I am taking 125 of thyroxine and 15 of T3 split x 3 taken on waking, lunchtime and bedtime Blood sample taken as per your protocol. Still not

Hi, I just did my annual thyroid test. It's not disastrous, but my Ft3 has dropped to the lowest it's been in many, many years. I did wonder if I was slightly undermedicated as I randomly had a migraine a few weeks ago and lots of low level headaches (not had migraines since I was last hypo - 13 years

Lithium damage, need support
Hello everyone, about a year and a half ago my wife (48 years old) had her lithium dosage increased. Since then her EGFR has gone from normal range down to 26-30, depending on the test. Creatinine was high, all other tests normal, no irregular urine results on urine test. She got a biopsy done and it
