Advice please- should I increase T3 a little now, as advised by prescriber or do bloods first?
Looking for some advice. I’m a few weeks into an increase of levo, back up to 100mcg from 75mcg. I was advised by my prescriber to do this and then to increase my T3 v slowly to get to 20mcg from my current 10mcg. I take both meds together overnight and don’t split my T3. The increase in levo has made

Freaked out a bit - alone with T3 only
Hi, I've posted earlier about my endo wanting to add 12.5 mcg of levo to my current 62.5 mcg of Tiromel and me crashing on that. I don't know if I should have pursued that thread to post but if so, I'm sorry and please feel free to tell me so. So because my endo couldn't be contacted I saw my GP (who

Persistent UTI's, appears only with sexual activity without protection
History of urinary tract infection I have had this infection for 3 years, Escherichia coli always comes out in the urine culture, except for one time when Proteus came out. For treatment I have used ciprofloxacin, amikacin, nitrofurantoin, levofloxacin (but there was resistance to it), Amoxicillin

Smart Protein and amino acids
I have had an under active thyroid for many years, I’ve recently learns about T4 and T3 tests. All mine have come back as “normal”. I have read about amino acids which can help you, I eat healthy, exercise 3 times a week and I’m no spring chicken. I never loose weight and when attending medial appointments

High levels of Prolactin
Hi all, do high levels of prolactin affect thyroid meds absorption by any chance? I did sex hormone tests and it’s through the roof 😨 I’m going to rest to see if it was an anomaly. But if its not, and the levels are still high, could anyone advise how to reduce?

Some good news at last
I’ve just had a zoom appointment with a private endocrinologist and he has prescribed me with T3, so I’m hoping that I will start to feel better than I have been. A question though to anyone here that is hypothyroid on T3 and has a pacemaker, did you suffer any side effects ie palpitations? If so did

Per recommendations of Sue, Jools and others I contacted my Dr to request a Ferritin test. Haven’t heard back yet but I found labs that were done in 2019. My ferritin level was 34 at that time. Does anyone know if ferritin levels improve on their on or should I assume it is still low until I can get

Pre transfer leg pain
Hi ladies, posing this question as I always find I get such helpful information. I am about to do my 6th embryo transfer Saturday and am worried about leg pain. I often get this when I do FETs and was always previously told it was the meds. I’m taking crinone twice a day, lucrin injections alternate

told to take 10mcg and 5mcg Liothyronine on alternate days but it isn't recommended!
I was seen at the Endocrine Clinic recently. The endocrinologist had requested bloods were taken the previous day by my GP, but I had taken all my thyroid medication (75 Levo and 10mcg Liothyronine ) at about 8am before the GP took my bloods but I did not realise at the time I should have withheld
