Pacemaker 2 or 3 Wires
I had a Pacemaker implant 18 months ago and for the first 9 months my pulse was a steady 70bpm. but then overnight it went up to around 115bpm and went back into A/F. where it has stayed ever since. I am due to have an AV Node Ablation in 3 weeks time. My Pacemaker was fitted with 2 wires because they

In and out of Afib.
I had a cardiac ablation on April 30th. After procedure, I was in normal sinus rhythm for 4 days. The last two days, I'm experiencing a couple afib episodes, and back to sinus today. I hope it's normal.

After being diagnosed with AF I went for an
catheter
ablation
which threw up a clot in my heart. This in 2016 after waiting to see if this would be reabsorbed after further TOE`s it was still there.

Absolutely fed up.
So I had a second
Catheter
Ablation
in January , with mapping. Everything seemed reasonable until Sat last, for no reason at all, I came all over breathless. Scary couldn’t catch my breath at all. Ambulance was called, arrived very quickly.

How long does cardiac ablation typically last for re-entrant tachycardia?
I thought I was free of it( re-entrant tachycardia) after the last ablation however my other Cardiologist ( not the E.P. cardiologist) said it usually lasts for about a year. I hope I heard that wrong!

Pacemaker
Well just had a 3 week stay in the Glenfield Heart Hospital. Finally had a pacemaker. It should have had 4 leads but they only managed 3. I know have to Waite 6 weeks for an AV Node Ablation. I read somewhere that you have to notify DVLA if you drive and your insurance company. And they’re normally

Possible Pacemaker and Av node ablation
Hi all, I thought Id maybe give you a wee update. Saw my EP as an urgent review following my 3rd ablation 5 weeks ago. Since that last ablation I had extreme chest pain, breathlessness and extreme tachycardia leading to multiple collapses. Thankful the pain has eased but the rest of symptoms Im still

Pace and Ablate
Well I had hoped that it would have been all done and dusted by now - but NO! The insurance company is driving both my EP, his secretary and myself round the pole and I rather suspect they will deny the bi-ventricular device. But they have OK’d the AV node ablation - which of course I can’t have -

Pacemaker and AV node ablation
I have been meaning for a while to write this post in the hope that it will help those going through the dilemma of whether to take the decision to go through, what is termed, as a final option. The run-up before taking that decision is daunting. I have had three ablations and exhausted all the different

Pacemaker and Fast Heartbeat
Had pacemaker fitted 18 months ago. Heart settled on a steady 70 bpm for 9 months and then went to around 115 bpm overnight and back into AF. It has stayed this way ever since. I am due for a pre med in 3 weeks time for an AV Node Ablation. I assume that the pacemaker will then go from doing almost nothing

Hysterectomy Advice Please

Endometrial ablation??
What happens when you ‘get your period’ after this procedure? I understand some people bleed less or not at all but do you still get period pains etc. or does the uterus not cramp etc. because there’s less/nothing to expel?

Catheter ablation Friday, extremely anxious
Hi everyone I am due to have an ablation this Friday, I’m 27 years old from York, North Yorkshire. I get heart palpitations when I play tennis or badminton When smashing the shuttle or bending down for one near the net. This happens ONLY when I play raquet sport. Things like going to the gym or running
