Hi everyone, I'm 30 years old and have been seeking a reason for feeling incredibly ill with a whole range of symptoms for over a decade. After using Blue Horizon I found a few years ago that I had hashimotos and so commenced a long battle to get treatment. I am now on Levothyroxine but feeling no better

Is pernicious anaemia likely?
Hi everyone, I'm 20 and I've been experiencing intense B12 deficiency symptoms since December, and have been housebound or bedbound due to muscle weakness and fatigue and inappropriate sinus tachycardia. I suffered extreme weight loss, and have a symptom list as long as my arm, all of which correlate

Anti VEGF help
Hi there, I wonder if anyone else has had lasting side affects after anti VEGF? During the first injections, I had a feeling of pressure in my right eye but no pain. In my left eye it hurt quite a bit. I was left with blood in the eye for around 5 days, as well as a headache for about a week. The second

What are your suggestions for an upset stomach due to anxiety? I usually drink tea and use essential oils. Anything else natural that would help? Oh, I also take probiotics. Thanks!

Evening primrose oil for pain/discomfort
Does it help anyone else with the pelvic and lower back pain? I do not have a firm diagnosis of endometriosis (hence not going on suggested Visanne yet, will do more diagnostics in my home country for less), but it worked for me when naproxen and diclofenac completely failed. In case you consider it

Finally got LDL down below 70 mg/DL ( 1.8 mmol/L)
I was first found to have fairly severe atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) in September 2016 by a voluntary Calcium Score (CT) test . I was asymptomatic for heart disease (no symptoms ) and was very healthy, not overweight , non-smoking, normal BP, no family history, etc. I had a ultrasound stress

Statin use/cholesterol management during venetoclax
Has anyone had to use statins/cholestorol reducing meds during venetoclax? In particular has anyone used ezetrol or crestor? My Dad was on statins prior to commencing venetoclax and he is hoping to continue with the statins if they will not cause any trouble.

Help with understanding test results?
Hi everyone. In the last 18 months I have had many strange (and as yet undiagnosed) symptoms. Too many to list on here and not bore you all to death but my main worries are leg pains (intermittent claudication), leg weakness/pain, tingling hands/feet, fast heart rate when walking, left sided chest pain

Persistent cough after childhood pneumonia
My partner, 18 now, mentioned he had pneumonia as a child and recovered. He now links that to his current cough. We've been dating for 9 months, and he began coughing around the 5 month mark. He says the cough comes and goes, sometimes it stays for weeks, sometimes months, sometimes he doesn't have

Really upset and frustrated following a hematologist appointment--any ideas?
Hi all, I've posted on here several times after testing positive for the intrinsic factor antibody a month or so ago. Until then, I had had a year of general fatigue, then 3-4 months of increasingly bad fatigue, cracked corners of my mouth, shortness of breath, inability to exercise, forgetfulness/difficulty

Hypothyroid - ways to reduce inflammation and hence ferritin
I am hypothyroid and according to my iron panel all my indicators are about half of the optimal. However, my ferritin is 101, which according to my doctor is about the top of the optimal. So, it looks like I need to reduce inflammation, which should reduce ferritin. This in turn will mean I will be able
