Afinitor and faslodex
Has anyone been on Afinitor and Fulvestrant/Faslodex I’m going to be starting in a couple weeks and I’m just wondering what the side effects are and how long it had been successful. Prior to this I have been on Ibrance and letrozole for almost 2 years and it just stopped working.

Drop in psa a bad thing?
Casodex
started August 20 Telstar shot on August 28 PSA on Sept 4 is 89. I thought this was a good result, but I have read some reports that suggests such a rapid response is a poor prognosis indicator, or a shorter time to crpc.

Faslodex “Fire”
So, on my 4th set of Faslodex (Fulvestrant) injections, I had a most unpleasant reaction on the third night. Prior to this I was a bit sore and tender but nothing compared to this. It was as if the tops of each crest of my pelvis were in flames and so tender that i could not sit comfortably-like I’d

Don't Give Up Hope. 4 Years after a dreadful dx of metastatic PC with a 209 PSA and bone mets, I am still undetectable
I have been on Degalirix (Firmagon) injections on a monthly basis since then as well 50 mg of
Casodex
daily and today I just had full labs showing that I am still undetectable ( PSA <0.02) and all other blood work is perfect.

Blood draw
On our way to MO for first blood draw after 30 days from first Lupron shot and two weeks of
casodex
. Anything I should ask for in the blood draw tests or anything I should ask the doc? We are at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Dr. Heather Cheng.

Kisqali, Faslodex and Zometa
I'm on my 10th cycle of kisqali and faslodex along with monthly zometa. My tumor markers are now down to 20. My PET CT Scan no progression and my onc say I'm stable. I've asked will my TM get to zero and answer was no. So what is NED - no evidence of disease?

Hormone therapy and endo-brain
I have been on Ibrance with Letrozole for about 18 months. Letrozole has now been switched to Faslodex. I had noticed recently that I was having trouble finding a word I wanted to say. Like making a phone call and then a word I needed, like “refill a prescription “, would not come into my mind. This

newLy diagnosed April 10 2018
Started on
casodex
and lupron at KU Med. Went to MD Anderson and was switched to Zytiga. Just waiting for the tumor to shrink away from my rectum. I’m sure it is in my rectum because the tumor is outside the prostate up against it. Just waiting. Seems to be the way of this disease.

Migraines with Faslodex?
Hi All, I have been taking a combination therapy of Ibrance (100mg), Aromasin since 4/16 and had Faslodex shots added in April of 2018 because of some new spots found. Stage 4 with Bone Mets only so far. For the past 2 months I have been having what the eye doctor and primary care doc decided are Ocular

Faslodex and Xeloda
I have been on Faslodex for nearly 7 years now some flunctuation is very normal, although I have never had CA 27 29 higher than 80. My Mets is to the bone and that seems to be the best of the Mets. I was also on.Xeloda for 7 years and was taken off of it while it was still working to give my body a

Adding Zytiga to Lupron and Casodex
I had SBRT to the met and have been on Lupron and
Casodex
for nine months. The numbers are good. T=6 and PSA <0.02. The MO is suggesting adding Zytiga for another six months then stopping to watch the numbers. He feels that intensifying the treatment at this time may be beneficial.

Almost NED!
Just wanted you all to know since my scan came back very good I’m not having to see the Dr just every 3 months. I’m still getting Faslodex injections but since it’s helping just watching me. I’m praying 🙏 it stays this way and pray for everyone that has this cancer to deal with. Thanks again Leslie

Latest results with initial treatment
Began treatment 8/18 starting with
Casodex
. In one week, his PSA dropped to 470! (just
Casodex

Confused! Need Information & Guidance
Instead he feels that SO should continue hormone therapy (
Casodex
) which is working. We are confused! Other Drs have said (before PET & discovery of bone involvement) that they could do cyberknife on lymph nodes but only if there was no longer any cancer remaining in prostate.

5 month Cough
Hey guys, I've had this terrible cough for about five months now. It doesn't happen when Im sleeping but during the day I'll often cough up phlegm or dry heave from the cough. I went and saw my GP and they sent me for breathing tests and a chest X-Ray. Nothing showed up and my breathing was normal. I

Brain mets
Has anyone been on the drug Temodar for brain mets ? If so, what is your experience with it ? On my recent MRI of brain I have increased number and size of brain mets. CT scan also shows increased disease. I was switched from Faslodex and Verzenio to Temodar which is used in brain cancer and Xeloda

Xtandi
He was on
casodex
18 months and then switched to Xtandi one year ago. His PSA was never more than 4 but alk phos was 4000. His PSA has been < .1 for two years but last month it was .2. Doctor doesn’t think it’s significant but articles I’ve seen sound like it could be. Any experience with this?
