👏👏) Casodex and Eligard (my ADT) combined with Docetaxel (6 shots) worked wonders on the prostrate and bone mets, but the bladdder metastasis is not responding (2 out of 3 ain't bad.... ).

I have been at this fight for 6 years, Taxotere, casodex, lupron, xgeva, Xtandi. They all worked until they didn't. I am still on lupron and xgeva. I had my first infusion of Keytruda on July 2.

On 5/13/2020 PSA 1.29 testosterone 495 CT and Bone Scan both negative for METs I did not like the SE of Lupron and discussing this with my urologist he started me on Casodex 50mg OD. Three weeks into Casodex treatment PSA 0.35 I don't have the latest Testosterone results.

Started with Casodex followed after month with LUPRON. Reached PSA nadir of 0.9 in summer of 2019. PSA doubling time approx ~ 2.0/2.5 months. PSA July 20, 2020 = 116ng/dl. T = 6.0ng/dl MRI showed mets to spine and suspicious ganglion activity.

Is Casodex a possibility or wait? Thanks for the help

Does anyone have pain on upper back between shoulder blades? I lost a muscle in my back when Dr used tissue from my back to reconstruct my breast back in 2006. I was diagnosed with MBC in 2018. I am currently taking a Faslodex injection once a month and with that Dr. recently added 300 mgs of Piqray.

My eyes fill with liquid tears I think but it seems it might be a little thicker than tears but it’s constant. I am on Verzenio Faslodex and Zo meta-has anybody had this I watering side effect to anything. I’m going to an eye specialist in two weeks I’m wondering if it’s my tear ducts that are clogged.Any

I was given IM Lupron in February (3 month shot)plus Casodex. At May checkup Psa was 0.3, Casodex was discontinued and I was given a 6 month shot of Lupron. Just got results back today of my 6/18 PSA test and it has risen to 0.4. Does that make me castration resistant?

My reason for the Casodex 50 instead of Casodex 150 would obviously be to take a less stronger therapy, and the “fall-back” plan would be Casodex 150, if the Casodex 50 cannot do the job.

So, I finished 6 Docetaxel sessions 4 weeks ago and as I'm responding to the Chemo, Eligard and Casodex, I'm considering 4 more chemo shots between now and when I have another cystoscopy in 3 months to remove/change my stent.

I have an idea to start taking Casodex 150 for a double blockade. My goal is to lower uPSA further and reach a level of uPSA <0.003 where the cancer appears to disappear, as stated in a study by John Hopkins Medicine - PSA: “How low should it go“ ?

I asked him if I should stop the Casodex and he said no to wait until I get another PSA reading in 8 weeks time. He also told that because my PSA is still so low, I am really not yet a candidate for Provenge.

Does any one have any thoughts on using the Casodex or not using it with Lupron. Thanks for any input.

I have recently finished 6 Docetaxel infusions and have been on Casodex and 3 monthly Eligard shots since January. Before my APC diagnosis, my internal thermostat always ran hot, but now I seems to always be cold.
