Switch from Firmagon to Zoladex
He would like my testosterone to be lower so is switching me to
Casodex
and Zoladex. For background, I'm Gleason 4+4 and cancer in lymph nodes but not distant mets, planning on EBRT in a month. Anyone had this switch and any thoughts that my testosterone should be lower. Thanks.

Newly Diagnosed
My final stop on this journey was with a MO who started me on Lupron with
Casodex
. I will be starting Zytiga with prednisone and Xgeva. We added the Xgeva because there is apparently a "suspect" area in my right femur.

Low dose chemo + HT?
My Urologist (Kaiser) wants to alter on/off HT (
Casodex
+ Lupron) al long as these numbers are low. But I am thinking that while the numbers are low to also add in low dose Chemo (10-15%) Any thoughts on this?

So after 10 months of taking Ibrance and letrozole I have two new liver lesions. The next step for me is Faslodex and a pill I can't remember the name. (just saw doctor yesterday). What side effects should I expect from the faslodex as I'm an academic coach (teacher) and still working. Also, is anyone

Shorter time castrate resistant = Zytiga and Xtandi will last even less than first line ADT?
Not always the case, my father became castrate resistant in 2 months with
Casodex
but is currently on almost his 5th month on Zytiga and doing well so far, so if you fail first line ADT it doesn't necessarily mean that 2nd line ADT will last less.

What To Do
They want me to start taking 50 mg of
Casodex
every day. Get a CT of my upper abdoman. Come back in 2 1/2 weeks and take a shot of what I think they called Lupron. Then a week after that start chemo for 6 sessions.

PSA from 86.6-1
On 7/18 PSA at 86.6. 8/7/18 Lupron +
Casodex
On 9/14 PSA at 1. Question- is that kind of a PSA drop normal, average? Is Lupron +
Casodex
considered a cancer killer or just slows it down?

Stopping Zytiga after 6months
He had TURP procedure and took
Casodex
(2wks) and then started end July 2018 with Zytiga+prednisone, Eligard (every 3months) and Xgeva (monthly). After 2months of treatment, his PSA has gone down from 33 prior to treatment to 1.68 last week. His testosterone level is now at <0.025 ng/ml.

Radiation & P53 Mutation
Went on Lupron and
Casodex
end of March 2017 and Abiraterone in September, 2017 and omitted
Casodex
. My PSA has been undetectable since early June, 2017. I had both a decipher and Foundation report taken of the prostate and it came back with TMPRSS and a P53 mutation.

Affinitor and Exenamestine (Aromasin)
After taking Ibrance and Faslodex for 10 months, they stopped working. I am being started on Affinitor and Exenamestine. I am wondering how these meds are tolerated and what side effects are related to the meds. Any problem with mouth sores and if so how were they treated.

PSA of 12 a Gleason of 9 4+5 robotic surgery in late August Gleason downgraded to 4+3 lupron and
casodex
PSA rising spring of of 2017 37 sessions of radiation. Back to lupron PSA starts rising never more than 0.2. Although doubling time less than two months. I found a wonderful oncologist.
