I am going to have 2 weeks intensive leg bandaging in hospital but they want me to have restricted fluids and take diuretics.
Everything I have read about taking water tablets to reduce fluid retention in lymphoedema patients says it doesn't work and it could even make things worse. I would be grateful if anyone could let me know if this will be safe for me, and if there is a LSN 'policy' or some guidance notes on this issue

Anxiety and your HEART
Pre-
cardiac
arrest
, I didn't worry about actually dying because I had never had a serious illness, and I certainly wasn't anxious about developing a heart problem because there was no history of heart disease in my family.

I'm frustrated with the medical profession.
The first in February with what was to all intents and purposes a
Cardiac
Arrest
. I was resuscitated by paramedics and spent a week in hospital. In that period I saw five different doctors and three different consultants none of whom agreed with each other.

What are you doing for Heart Rhythm Week 2013?
This year’s theme for Heart Rhythm Week is Hearts & Goals which aims to raise awareness of sudden
cardiac
arrest
, the UK’s number one killer, claiming 100,000 lives each year and of the life-saving difference that can be made with CPR and an AED (automated external defibrillator) to survival.
