7 weeks after cardiac arrest..confusion
Hi, Today marks the 7th week for my mom in the hospital after her
cardiac
arrest
. It was estimated that she was found a minute after her collapse and CPR was initiated by family members until the paramedics arrived 5 minutes after to resuscitate and stabilise her over a course of 17 minutes.

Gauchers discease
My partner died in November aged 39 after a
cardiac
arrest
which caused severe brain damage. Yes he was an alcoholic and had cirrhosis but he was so young. I was looking through his medical letters and following a blood test there was a mention of gauchers.

What are your thoughts about bed rest during 2WW
Hi everyone! I had my transfer yesterday and had today off today. I am debating with myself whether to return to work on Monday (bearing in mind it can be busy and sometimes carry heavy items) or whether to stay at home. I know the title says bed rest but more lying on the sofa watching Netflix is

Dad won't accept he has hypoxic brain injury after cardiac arrest
Hi, Me and my family are really struggling as my dad just won't accept that he has a brain injury although it is visibly obvious to us. We are also finding it really difficult as he does not want to adhere to a newer set of health rules such as not smoking, drinking or eating healthier in order to recover

Palpitations post heart attack.
In 2018 I had a
cardiac
arrest
, on 8.3.20 I had a heart attack and now have a total of eight stents. Over the past few days, during isolation/furlough, I have been experiencing several lots of palpitations on a daily basis usually after minimum exertion.
