Running with a Basel cell carcinoma
I have a skin lesion on the side of my hooter (nose) which won't heal up and go away, biopsied, and turns out it's a cancer, only a mild one caused by the Sun's UV rays. It doesn't look much at the moment, but if left it can eventually cause a lot of damage, so needs removal. I will be having a special

Doing well with Bladder Cancer
., 2016 a tumor in my right kidney was found to be papillary urothelial
carcinoma
(typically bladder cancer). My kidney was removed and few months later, I had tumors in my bladder and prostate. Those organs were removed, they created a urostomy and it was hoped that I might be "cured".

Cannabidiol (CBD).
Here we report a novel role for CBD as a potent inhibitor of EMV release from three cancer cell lines: prostate cancer (PC3), hepatocellular
carcinoma
(HEPG2) and breast adenocarcinoma (MDA-MB-231).

Thyroid testing post partial thyroidectomy
I had stage 1 papillary
carcinoma
on my right lobe. I currently have a colloid (benign) nodule on my left remaining lobe. My ENT surgeon is not interested in thyroid function testing until I show symptoms of hypothyroidism, which I am not happy about.

First time breast cancer patient
Two weeks ago, I had a simple mastectomy for Ductal
Carcinoma
in Situ (non-invasive). I am relieved that they got all of it, but still dealing with a drainage bulb and moderate pain from an infection. Although I've had surgeries before, dealing with cancer is new to me.

First blood test results
've just started my low iodine diet, a few weeks after a TT for papillary
carcinoma
. Just received the results from a test done two weeks after the op. From my position of not much knowledge it looks like I'm deficient in b12, possibly anemic.

Doctors should avoid saying ‘cancer’ for minor lesions – study
Aranda agreed that low and intermediate grade breast cancers, called ductal
carcinoma
in situ (DCIS), were “one of the biggest problems” when it came to over-treatment and over-diagnosis.

Please help me understand my pathology report
I am a 41 year old lady who was diagnosed with infiltrating ductal
carcinoma
following excision biopsy done on 1June. However one of the resected margins showed cancer cells. Therefore I underwent a total mastectomy and axillary clearance on 15 June.

New to the 'big C' game
This time I was told I had cancer, low grade serous
carcinoma
stage 3b to be precise. I always knew there was a chance of cancer and the surgery I had was all done in case of the worst outcome (the cyst they found was sinister) But I never really thought that it would be that outcome.

Hi everyone.
M, 49, just had TT due to papillary
carcinoma
. Didn't know I had cancer six weeks ago, so not sure how I feel about it. Coming up two weeks after the second op, and I'm still incredibly fatigued. I have RAI due end of July, and hate the idea of being this knackered throughout the summer holidays!
