Loss of husband
Hi Karen so sorry for your loss. I know how you are feeling, I was widowed 25 years ago and my 4 young children helped me through that. Just over a year ago my only brother died from cirrosis, hep c and liver cancer, like you my lovely we have to go on. Stay strong and think of all those happy memories, look forward not back. For each day you get through without tears give yourself a pat on the back. The pain never goes away but it gets easier with time. Just be you. Hugs x
Oh KT. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know just how you're feeling. I went through it with my then husband 8 years ago. It gets worse before it gets better. But you learn to live with the loss but you never forget. You'll see your husband in your children as they grow. Remember and be grateful for the good times you spent together, they will in time make you smile more than cry. Don't let anyone rush you through your grief, you have to do it in your own way in your own time. Take care darling. Big hug xx

My heart goes out to you Karen. We never "get over" losing our loved ones, we just learn to live with it over time. Thinking of you all with much sadness - you will find comfort in your children I know.
